Anyone happen to know where Aaabria got that shirt from Ep 4 because it looks gorgeous on her and I want to get it for myself

This is Thistle and Spire's Boudicca bodysuit and garter, which is unfortunately sold out on the site (but if we all ask nicely maybe they'll bring it back because I'd love them in another color too! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ)

@mielone I and none of the people who have reblogged this so far have said anything focused on firing employees but rather targeting the owners. But you really think that businesses should be allowed to engage in this type of behavior because they have employees?

Businesses who work with the Trump administration are engaging in fraud, bribery, corruption and subversion of legal processes established to protect taxpayers. They donโ€™t get to avoid accountability because you can dig around and find a couple of victims in the muck. All crimes involve collateral damage; thatโ€™s why we discourage crime.

FYI Enron used your same argument in their PR campaign with the Justice Department to avoid accountability. Their employees still lost those jobs because their employers were criminals but it helped the executives get away with it. Companies since have repeated that playbook and managed to con people like you into buying their nonsense. So thanks for assisting the worst abuses of capitalism, I guess?

also pretty sure this is illegal. trump doesn't have the authority to allocate the funds for this; that's up to congress. also the white house is a public (and historic) building as are it's grounds. it belongs to the people not to trump. no compliance with fascist law breaking.

My parents disowned me 2 days ago - for finally standing up against their emontial abuse, blatant manipulation & arrogant ableism - which means all the financial support we've had for rent/bills/loans/insurance/food was burned up with that bridge.

Though I've had a few breakdowns since, it still doesn't feel like it's hit me fully yet - not looking forward to when the dam breaks tbh

I'm applying for cash & renter's assistance but, if you would like to help in some small way, here's my deets:

Itโ€™s slightly weird to me that you donโ€™t depict Jean actually talking. While I know she is fully capable of just telepathing words straight into someoneโ€™s head, I donโ€™t generally see her portrayed doing that for casual conversation.

Just speaking personally, but if I were a prodigy even amongst telepaths and could hear other people's thoughts from birth, that would be how I would learn to talk - with my brain, and not with my mouth. I would be annoyed and frustrated with people who would insist that I interact with the world in a way that feels unnatural just to make them feel more comfortable.

In fact, I would take offense to that being referred to as "weird." But what would I know.

I'm just a chick who was diagnosed with ADHD late in life and like to write fanfiction. You shouldn't listen to anything I have to say. I'm weird.

I don't understand the point of this type of ask/comment in general. It's:

  1. Unsolicited and entirely subjective negative criticism.
  2. Something about the writer/artist's manner-of-doing-something which will not change, especially not if the reason is supposed to be that a stranger (or anyone at all) didn't find it to their liking.

So like. What do people expect when they say this kind of stuff to a creator they follow ?

It just stood out to me as a slightly weird detail I took notice of. (Weird isnโ€™t negative) I was curious about it and their versions of characters are interesting and I like their general explanations of their stuff so I thought Iโ€™d ask about it, and got a nice little bit of stuff to read.

yeah I read this as a jokey ask and I tried a jokey response, but reading it back, I can see how that tone definitely wouldn't come across to someone else.

Uuuuuhhhhhhh were just having fun, folks!

Missouri shares it's two major cities with neighboring states because Missouri loves company.

Reminder to everyone that for some reason this is the state that cracked the juvenile justice problem!! Congrats to Missouri for being the best in the nation!

is it really a miracle or is it just treating these kids like people

spoiler alert: it's just treating these kids like people

Hey all, Crips for Esims for Gaza has been purchasing E-sims for people in Gaza and need help to continue their advocacy!

We link them in our Hi Nay episodes but want to remind people to help out if they can and donate! They're an offshoot of the E-sims for Gaza program created by Mirna El-Helbawi, and allow you to, if you are overwhelmed by the E-sims purchasing process, streamline it.

You donate to Crips for Esims for Gaza, and they do it for you. Help these fantastic disabled activists if you're able!

Link in replies so Tumblr doesn't hide this!

HEEEEEREโ€™S JOHNNY!

For those who are wondering, this is not Photoshopped. It is not all that unusual for adult sulcatas to walk/burrow through drywall. Not necessarily for any particular reason, just because they feel like digging and canโ€™t be bothered by the frivolity of human structures.

I like that this happens often enough that it is a known problem with this species

hi pals. if you're worried about potentially losing SNAP next month please check out find help, and find food pantries or other free / reduced cost food support in your area. If you don't receive benefits, and have a bit to spare, please think about donating to your local food pantry this month (or donating a bit extra if you can swing it.)

@peytonslullabys pulling this out of the comments because it's a great addition!!!! link -> ๐Ÿค

Get rid of ring cameras unless you like partnering with ICE

On the same day that Ring announced this partnership, 404 Media reported that ICE, the Secret Service, and the Navy had access to Flockโ€™s network of cameras. By partnering with Ring, Flock could potentially access footage from millions more cameras.

This was the inevitable outcome of these devices btw
