it's been talked about plenty but it just continually blows my mind how many people are completely fixated on social justice at a macro level while totally incapable of showing basic decency to the people around them.
#hate to say it but in my experience a lot of cities with left leaning populations are unwelcoming and unkind places#in a small town you say hello to your neighbors/mow their lawn for them if they're having a tough time etc even if your politics don't align#i think a lot of leftists from cities think of community in a very abstract way because they've never actually been a part of one
