hello everyone so unfortunately my last post lost traction and stalled before i could reach my goal so i'm remaking it 🥹 long story short: for those who don't know i'm mentally disabled & getting accessible jobs where i live is damn near impossible so most of my income comes from freelance gigs & commissions. i'm struggling to afford my medication that allows me to Function & pay for my treatments & also help out my dad with the cost of my grandma at the home she's in where she gets 24/7 care (she's disabled / late stage alzheimer's) so literally any kind of support is extremely appreciated.
with that said - check out my resource blog, my premium themes, my gif tutorial, i'm taking commissions (gifsets, themes, headers, icons, psds, tutorials, etc). if you don't want to commission anything but would like to support me, literally any amount helps immensely. so do reblogs. thank you so much in advance!
hi! thanks to everyone who's reblogged and helped so far! i'm nearing my goal & i still haven't been able to buy all my meds & there's still an amount missing for my grandma's care home (we have an extension that's approaching - the 25th) so literally ANY anyyyy amount helps immensely!!! if u see this pls rb thank u sm ♡ i am Still taking commissions!!!

-- Ted Chiang, from "Why A.I. Isn't Going to Make Art"
I'm so glad they got Ted Chiang -- a wonderful writer of science fiction and thinker about technology, in my opinion -- to write this essay. My favorite line was this:
Generative A.I. appeals to people who think they can express themselves in a medium without actually working in that medium.
You deserve friends. You deserve people who care about you. Even if you have too many burdens that you carry, even when your life is complicated. Especially then.
Gael García Bernal & Diego Luna - La Máquina press tour, Part 1(?)
"Friendships can sometimes be very intense. Sometimes you need space. Sometimes you confront each other. And all of that has happened to our friendship, and yet we are still here. Because ours is a profound bond of which we’ve lost control." (NYT)
If you can eat and drink, sleep in a bed, read these words, and have a bank account—you have the power to help. Don’t stay silent. Do something for Gaza today.
Last night, we barely survived…
Gaza was burning under relentless bombardment with every kind of weapon. Entire neighborhoods were destroyed within hours.
We were forced to flee our place of residence in the north, and we spent the night on the street until — with great difficulty — we found a car to take us to the south at a heavy price. We carried with us fear, exhaustion, hunger, and suffering, yet still no real safety.
📌 Today, for the first time, a UN investigative committee has officially confirmed that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. This is not just a report — it is a testimony to the death, displacement, and destruction we endure every single day.
We are living this genocide moment by moment… our lives are hanging by a thread.
