These Victors are angry. They’ll say anything to try and stop The Games. I suggest you do the same. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) dir. Francis Lawrence

Nueng: I know this is just casual for you
Palm, who's never been casual about a single thing in his life, vibrating at a frequency that could shatter glass: Khun Nueng please brace yourself because I'm about to be SO normal about this

i think the point in this episode wasn’t to show passion between daemyra: it was to show how much being apart had changed them and how the yearning and their love haven’t changed at all: it only grew stronger.
rhaenyra expresses her feelings, but daemon says a lot with his gestures and his tone. when she is confessing her feelings, he LISTENS to her and he feels for her. she wants to leave, he turns her around and he is angry that she thinks he wasn’t miserable too. this is a scene where they are not only grieving for the one they lost, but for the time they have lost together. when she approches him to kiss, you see his lips tremble, him calling her name isnt a warning, its like a prayer, he feels like this moment is a dream, he can’t believe that after all those years she still wants him. he is afraid of feelings, afraid of doing things wrong again — so he lets her do everything because he doesnt know how to deal with what he feels.
daemon is so gentle with her, the way he grabs her chin, he kisses her skin… he is so TENDER. he shows her that he is here to worship her, to do everything she wants.
dont get me started on the way they are holding each other while doing it.
daemon shows her that this time he wont leave because she’s there and she wants him as much as he wants her. when she talks about marriage, i think he sits down to process everything. its like finally having the dream you have waited for so long, i think he hesitates because he is afraid of doing things wrong again, but he shows her he is here because they can finally be together.
the wedding was here to show this for me. it was the moment where they were both free and at peace. she’s caressing his face, and daemon is just looking at her like "wow, finally. this is real." and i feel like he is at peace and when he kisses her oh my god this is freedom for both of them but mostly for him because he finally has the only thing he ever wanted: her. daemon takes the time to look at her, truly, take a breath and go for it. he grabs her face, stops kissing for a second and go back because this moment is theirs after they have waited for so long. this scene is so perfect to me in so many ways.
