I am working hard on a DnD campaign for my friends, my first time as a DM (after being a player for a few years), and I'm incredibly nervous, but also very excited!

It will be an adventurous game where people live on floating islands in the sky. A proper sky pirate adventure! 🦜🏴‍☠️ This is one of the NPCs; Amy.

A bit late ~ Art vs Artist 2022 ⭐

Most of what I’ve drawn this year has been portfolio pieces or DnD art. Teal/orange/purple seems to be the most popular colours for me this year. ✨

This month’s Patreon tutorial is about adding color to your traditional sketch! This is a workflow I can really recommend if you want to give your sketches a bit of extra magic. Find the full 45 minute tutorial, along with a handy cheat sheet, on my patreon: patreon.com/loish

Gabbi vs Comics #3 - Why is soft worldbuilding so hard??

One of my sources of inspiration for my upcoming comic, is Studio Ghibli movies, for a lot of different reasons. They have such lovable characters full of personality, and their worlds are fun and interesting, and sort of become a main character in itself. You always wanna know more.

Some sketches of Nynaeve from The Wheel of Time. I love drawing her long braid! Lots of fluffy hair in any shape makes me happy ^_^ Lately I'm trying to let go of the need to make everything as perfect as possible since it creates a huge amount of unnecessary stress for me, and honestly kills the joy of drawing entirely. So I try to allow roughness, imperfection and wonkiness, and I find that I like that imperfection much more than I would have thought.

I feel great power. You have the Clow Cards, don’t you? Great power may also serve as an opportunity for hardship.

This design is another one of my favorites. Spellscape will be returning to my website on Saturday 12/10 along with lots of other dice!

Should I stick with a rose gold inking for this set or should I pick something new?
