Once werate, now phoenix’d into fyeah

my spouse listened to the first few episodes of wolf 359 recently and said “eiffel feels like a kid stuck at summer camp who reeeeeally doesn’t want to be there” and i cannot stop fucking thinking about how accurate that is

A is for Among the Stars and Bones!

Sci-fi horror. Set in 2211, a team of xenoarcheologists travel to a now-uninhabited planet to research its former inhabitants and what they left behind. They broadcast reports from their mission, which soon becomes perilous.

doodling george moreau!!!!! (and jane <3) i imagine they wear their hair mostly up like this at work for lab safety. in the third one they are offering constructive criticism on jane's pro-con list

We're riding the Red Line to London to join with a special live-show crossover with @ameliapodcast as part of the London Podcast Festival! With our pals from @wefixspacejunk to boot! Tickets at the link above! You don't want to miss this!

The other thing I wanted to say about the Greater Boston Season 4 finale is that there is a post-credits scene that's worth listening to. I almost missed it so figured I'd chuck this into the tag to make sure other people know about it!

Public service announcement.

HUGE fan of podcast episodes that aren’t like part of the main storyline but go absolutely nuts w character dynamics and voice acting and so permanently alter my brain chemistry, like “a passage” the pasithea powder, “home” the penumbra podcast, “a change of mind” and “variations on a theme” wolf 359

So TikTok has now muted the original video (Brian May didn't like it or whatever) so to find it still floating around here makes me oddly happy, like it's finally free

Gwen Hartley has trained to be a scout, one of many sent to uninhabited planets to explore and prepare them for settlement - alone for years. But after she arrives on the planet, it turns out that she’s not completely alone, as her scout-minder Bell Summers has been trying to contact her.

A completed 10-part series.

when a character dies and you can just see the remnants of them all throughout the story.... the places that they could have lived in and changed.... when you can see a scene and go "this would've gone so much better with them" but it cant go better because they're gone and they've left the story bereft

We've put together guidelines for fiction podcasters during the WGA Strike. While not part of the official Strike Rules, this doc is meant to serve as an additional set of guidelines for audio fiction writers (both members of the WGA & non-members) who want to either ensure they are following the rules of the strike or stand in solidarity with the WGA.

forever obsessed with and devastated by the tragic bond between narrative foils

when two people cannot exist without each other but can also never exist together without changing their nature and losing what makes them who they are
