How to Watch JJBA OVA

So I recently watched the OVA and loved it! I made some GIF sets and have noticed that a lot of people don't seem to know how they can watch it.

The best way to watch it (in my opinion) is to download the .mkv files from Internet archive and playing it in VLC player for the subtitles. Unfortunately the internet archive player does support subtitles but .mkv files store subtitles as well as the other audio tracks so with these files you could watch subbed or dubbed. I also suggest this way because It's higher resolution and restored footage so it looks nice while still maintaining the original aspect ratio.

The second option that I know of is via Youtube, but the second episode was taken down and replaced with the dub. This way is easier for most people, but the quality is a little lower and the aspect ratio is altered.

I hope this helps so people! I just think the OVA is great and want more people to watch it

Anonymous asked:

Okay, I'm super intrigued by this Goncharov, but I have no idea where to start. Is there a Goncharov For Dummies?

For such a classic film, there’s actually been surprisingly little media presence, and what there was has been met with constant misfortune. Not long after the film first came out, there were plans for a tie-in novel centered on events before the movie, but that fell through before ever being completed. There was a fascinating short documentary about the making of but unfortunately no copies seem to have survived to the present day as well. However, take a look in just about any film class textbook and you’ll almost certainly find discussion of the movie, whether for its groundbreaking cinematographic choices, the oft-discussed clock symbolism, or simply the immense cultural impact it had.

...Alright, gonna drop the bit actually because I’m not sure if you genuinely are unfamiliar with the premise here. In all seriousness:

Goncharov began with some knockoff shoes mistakenly advertising a nonexistent Scorcese film. People immediately began joking about OP not having seen ‘the greatest mafia movie ever made’, and at some point recently it just blew up. Initially I saw mostly posts full of fake outrage at people failing to understand obvious symbolism or pretended shipping wars or misinterpreted characters and the like, specifically parodying tumblr fandom language... but soon these began to coalesce and some specific scenes and characters have become generally accepted, as well as a rough sort of plot. There’s even production lore - as well as movie posters, gifsets, a whole bunch of fanart, incredible scores, hundreds of fanfics, quizzes, and lots more.

Basically, everyone is just having fun making shit up.

made this little process video over on tiktok since I got so many kind comments about the lighting/shading on these pieces! A surprisingly simple but effective setup 😎🏴‍☠️

The links are starting to be too many so here we go y'all finally the masterpost is here:

  • "What We Do in the Shadows" (movie)
  • "What We Do in the Shadows" (show) Season 1 and 2
  • "Wellington Paranormal" Season 1, 2 and 3

  • "What We Do in the Shadows" (show) Season 3

  • "Wellington Paranormal" Season 4

Everything is in the best quality I could find (mostly 1080p with a few exceptions of 720p), in the movie's/show's original language (mostly English) and I've uploaded English subtitles for everything too.

Also, post where I mention what websites I use for all this

And post where you can make REQUESTS/ask stuff about whatever you may need (you can also send me a message/ask for this)

And that's all! I'll go adding the links of the new drive folders I'll go creating! Happy watching! <3

Hotlinks to all Tables: A complete list of every trinket table for quicker access compared to scrolling through the entire blog or sifting through the archive. This also functions as the easiest link to reblog or save for reference purposes as it’s updated with each new table. Now with 112 full d100 loot tables, category specific rolling tables a working rollable Omni Loot Table.

—Note: The links sometimes don’t work on mobile devices or some apps. Try using a desktop or browser extensions if they aren’t working.

-The Omni Loot Table: A loot meta-table that allows the user to roll randomly on the 112 tables this blog has collected. This grants a DM literally millions of unique trinkets, equipment and items that players can find to enrich their world and playing experience.

-Character Creation Loot Generator: This generator creates an sample of five trinkets, curiosities and loot, pulled from a wide list of other tables that is meant to provide the player with some items to encourage engaging roleplaying with perhaps a minor boon to the odd dice roll. The generator is meant to be used by character’s of Level 1 or higher at character creation to help them with ideas of what their character have been or have done.

-All Unique Armors: Splint mail, studded leather and sturdy shields of all shapes, sizes and mysterious backgrounds. Distinctive armors that can serve as the basis for family heirlooms, legendary artifacts and magical or masterwork weapons.

-Masterwork Armor Bonuses: Over a dozen homebrew armor improvements, enhancements and modifications created though superior craftsmanship. These masterpieces though more powerful than ordinary armor would not be considered “magic” or “+1” objects.

-All Unique Minor Magic Weapons: A collection of flavorful weapons of artifact level quality suitable for low level characters. Much like the Minor Weapon Enchantments that some of them draw inspiration from, they provide small bonuses and combat options that are restrained by limited uses, niche situations or come with risky drawbacks.

-Minor Weapon Enchantments: A collection of minor bonuses that are weaker than a standard +1 weapons, as they come with trade-offs, risks, prerequisites, limited uses or niche benefits. These enchantments provide feat-like bonuses, low level class abilities, modify damage types, provide short bursts of power or replicate the effects of low levels spells. Rollable Minor Weapon Enchantments Table.

-All Minor Magical Items: Semi useful magical objects (If not always useful to an adventurer) that have little to no drawbacks associated with their use and are perfect for low level characters.

-All Unique Weapons: Blades, bludgeons and bows of all shapes, sizes and mysterious backgrounds. Distinctive weapons that can serve as the basis for family heirlooms, legendary artifacts and magical or masterwork weapons.

-Masterwork Weapon Bonuses: Over 20 homebrew weapon improvements, enhancements and modifications created though superior craftsmanship. These masterpieces though more powerful than ordinary weapons would not be considered “magic” or “+1” weapons. Compatible with Pathfinder, D&D 5e and other D20 systems. Rollable Masterwork Bonus Table

-Wild Magic Surges: A collection of Wild Surge options for DMs and PCs who find the published tables limiting, repetitive or boring, three things wild magic by definition, should never be. Rollable Wild Magic Surge Table.

-All Sealed Glass Vials: Faulty potions, weak elixirs, alchemical supplies, spell components, ritual elements, enchanting materials, crafting ingredients and magically preserved biological samples.

-All Books: An eclectic library of dusty tomes, fictional textbooks, pocketbooks, paperbacks, hardcovers, booklets, leaflets and magical manuals.

-All Rings: Enough rings and bands to wear three on every finger and toe while still having dozens to spare. These small circular pieces of gems, metal, wood or bone always add more to the story than the sum of their parts.

-All Cloaks: A collection of unique descriptions of cloaks for DM’s to give to their players as magical or mundane loot and for players to use during character creation to help flesh out their personal style.

-All Necklaces: Pendants, amulets, lockets, chokers and other “Neck Slot” jewelry that grant an immediate glance into the bearer’s personality, wealth, rank or social class and often serves as an iconic part of that character’s look. While a locked metal torque can instantly mark the bearer a penniless slave and a string of lustrous pearls mark their owner a flauntingly wealthy noble, so can an adventurer’s necklace mark them as a creature to bestow quests upon.

-All Artifacts: Artist masterpieces, rare magics and opulent combinations of jewels and precious metals. These objects can be found in the throne rooms of kings, the demiplanes of archmages and the pinnacle of a dragon’s hoard.

-All Valuables: More useful than regular trinkets, these items have either a clear purpose, a reliable ability or are made from a fairly costly material.

-All Trinkets: Interesting baubles or semi magical items that have little to no practical in game or mechanical use for an adventurer.

-All Worthless Trinkets: Vaguely interesting garbage, vendor trash and junk loot. Not magical or mysterious like regular trinkets or worth anything more than a copper piece or two even if you could find someone to buy it in the first place.

-All Mottos: Whether they’re called adages, maxims or creeds, these simple statements are essentially promises made to oneself, family, or institution. A character’s motto can be a goal in itself or a moral anchor that centers his life and guides his action. A mixed collection of real life and fictional mottos that can aid a DM to quickly expand the history of the campaign or to aid a PC in a richer character creation.

-Battle Cries: Simplistic and bone chilling warcries, complex and inspiring calls to arms and primal wordless screams of rage that shakes the enemy down to their iron-shod boots. A collection of simple phrases, threats, insults and violent promises for creatures to yell before and during combat to add verbal spice to each attack.

-All Reference Tables: When a trinket calls for a Random Weapon, Random Color or Random Godly Domain and you can’t think of one offhand, just go here and either roll a die or select one of your own choosing.

[Dono mentions seeing Ranboo cosplayers at a convention]

Ranboo: Uh, cosplay - aww that's [happy brr noises] I wanna go to a convention! But I know that I shouldn't because it's like Covid and everything and I really don't want to - but I really wanna see cosplayers in real life cause I think that'd just be super cool. I, I would melt. I would absolutely melt about that

ranboo excited about his own cosplayers and doing that Enderman brr brr noise is such a shot of serotonin ;^; listen to this with audio on for pure happiness

yall look at this shit ad*be is tryna pull now on ppl who have outdated software:

(note for context: i’m all for piracy, but in this case my copy of CS6 was downloaded years ago when they were giving it away to students. i got it totally legally.)

so here is what NOT to do if you’re a loyal fan of adobe who has the cash to shell out for a newer and shittier version of the product you already paid for.

1) DON’T use your search bar to find and open the Run app

2) DON’T type in services.msc

3) DON’T find Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Services and right-click to get a dropdown menu, and don’t select ‘properties’

4) if you happen to click properties, DON’T use the startup type dropdown to locate the option to disable the program. be sure you DON’T click apply to finalize that change.

5) DO NOT do the same thing in order to also disable Adobe Genuine Software Monitor

if you do all of these things, this WILL disable adobe’s ability to monitor the software, and you will be forced to continue using the same older software that you already paid for instead of having to sign up for a newer, shittier version and pay more for it. so if you have lots of cash to spare and are cool with putting it the pockets of racketeering capitalists, definitely don’t do any of these things.

however, you SHOULD reblog this to spread the word, as we certainly want to make sure lots of people know what NOT to do :)

I’M SORRY MA'AM. I KNOW YOU’RE UPSET.

Pretend to be upset.

OP how could you

I hope none of my friends who use Adobe programs find this, follow your detailed instructions, and spread the word. That would be devastating!

A comprehensive guide for whose streams to watch for Dream SMP plot if you’re overwhelmed

By now everyone’s probably figured out that there is a LOT of content out there on Twitch about the Dream SMP, and if you’re new to the fanbase it’s probably super overwhelming to figure out how to keep up with it all.

So I’ve decided to make a guide of who streams, and who usually has “plot stuff” to keep up with, vs. more chill vibes, since it may be helpful to some people? Maybe??

More under the cut:

Ok so how about that For knights arc huh... I just got to the point where Darryl uses the shotgun (in Pub G) and uh.. idk this feels so dark like I know they've been killing people (a lot) before and the whole Terry Jr. arc was already getting kinda real and heavy but that just... that just hit me so hard..

This is my first listen-through so no spoilers please but anybody wanna talk about Dungeons and daddies with me? I'm obsessing over this podcast already and I need people to talk to
