5) “oh god, please don’t cry, I’m not good in these types of situations” ~ 12) “you always look gorgeous” ~~~~~~~ Warning(s): fluff, bad words, and arguing (between parents) ~~~~~~~ A/N: yes i combined some requests together (don’t judge) only bc I thought it would go together ~~~~~~~

(Y/N) sat in her room and listened to her mom and dad go at it again with the yelling. Every time she would increase the volume to her music she was playing, the louder her parents got.

“You never help do shit in this house, so you shouldn’t be talking!” her mother yelled, “I don’t help around the house? Who the hell do you think put a roof over your head?!” her father yelled back.

(Y/N) squeezed her eyes shut and held her knees close to her chest, “Please stop” she whispered to herself but the arguing continued. She couldn’t take it anymore and decided to get up and climb out of her window and walk the opposite direction.

She made her way down the block and looked at her feet and she minded her own business. “Hey (Y/N)!” a voice called out, she turned around to see Ruby behind her, “Hey Ruby” she weakly smiled.

“Are you okay?” he asked in concern, (Y/N)’s eyes started to water because that was the first time in a couple of weeks that someone had asked her if she was okay.

“Oh god, please don’t cry, I’m not good in these types of situations” Ruby awkwardly spoke, but his face changed when he looked at her. Before (Y/N) could say anything, Ruby had wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. 

“It’s okay, you’re okay. You don’t have to tell me anything if you aren’t comfortable, all you have to do is just let me hold you” he whispered. “I’m good now” (Y/N) whispered after a few minutes.

“My parents are constantly fighting and I just got up and left the house. I can’t stand being under the same roof as them if all they do is scream at each other” (Y/N) broke the silence.

“Thank you Ruby, for comforting me. I’m sorry for crying like a big baby in front of you” She laughed lightly and rubbed her face. “I apologize in advance for looking like a mess and runny mascara” she joked.

Ruby smiled, “You don’t look like a mess, in fact, you look gorgeous. Then again, you always look gorgeous”. (Y/N) blushed, “You’re just saying that to be nice”.

He shook his head, “No, no I’m not. I’m being one hundred percent honest. I’ve always thought you were pretty and still do think you are, was just too scared to say anything”.

(Y/N) leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, “Well, thank you”. Ruby grinned ear-to-ear, “Anytime”. “Would you want to?” both of them questioned and laughed.

“You go first” Ruby smiled, “I was going to say, would you want to go on a date with me? Since we are being honest here, I’ve had a crush on you for a while” (Y/N) confessed.

“I’d like that” Ruby agreed, “I was going to ask if you wanted to spend the night at my house if you don’t want to go home” he added. “What about your parents?” (Y/N) asked.

Ruby shrugged, “They won’t mind, plus my mom would like to have you over”, (Y/N) raised her eyebrow, “Uh, I talk about you a lot at home so she’s been wanting to meet you”.

(Y/N) giggled, “Okay and again thank you”. “Anything for you” Ruby responded.
