ok - so i've had an idea about a very short fanfic comic (pretty cool exercice tbh)
(i obviously don't own mdzs - all rights belong to mxtx)
So last year @/jingyismom commissioned this piece:
everything is just about the same but they're all fairies... wwx coming back after being dead, and seeing lwj for the first time with his huge beautiful iridescent wings dragging mangled and useless behind him
and then I dithered, intimidated by the concept, for about six months before starting, then dithered for about another six months before pulling myself together and finishing it.
Anyway it's DONE NOW. Thank you rara for the opportunity to indulge my fairytale illustrator dreams

That’s why I’m not a fan of the sexy vampire trope.
1. It’s overused and supports the current status quote of typical vampire supremacy:worshiping rich folk.
2. Vampires prey upon humans and therefore symbolize capitalists preying on the working class.

what's really fucked up about society is that no one has ever once written a book or made a movie about close male relationships of any kind. men in media with other men have ONLY EVER historically fucked each other silly after saying "I'm in love with this man in a gay way" to the camera. and that's great! I loved the scene in the two towers when gimli blew legolas's back out. but I must defend the sacred rarity of platonic male relationships online.
I feel like Legolas wrote this in the early 2000s in a desperate attempt to explain that he’s already got a significant other, thanks, and he’s really awesome actually, and they’re very happy together, please... in an attempt to futilely fend-off the host of Tenth Walker girls he (and Aragorn) were being deluged by in fic back then.
