A/N: I'm back. I've had severe writers block, started a new job and just moved. I’m excited to be back. I’ve been writing stuff here and there. Anywhoooo
Plot: Your boyfriend of 1 years cheated on you and Elijah finally admits his feelings.
The Mikaelsons took you in when you were just a teenager, sixteen. You were a wolf and vampire and when your parents found out, you were kicked out. You were born in a line of vampires and witches but never received which powers and at the age of 20 you were to stop aging, but when you broke the werewolf gene, they wanted nothing to do with you.
That was until Klaus Mikaelsons heard of you. The firstborn vampire with the wolf gene. He was intrigued by you and felt sympathy for you. After all, he was the rejected child. You two bounded and he let you stay with them.
Throughout the rest of your high school years, you grew very close to Elijah. He was a man who listened to everything you said, helped you through high school drama and cared. He generally cared about you. You loved him ever since you were 17 but he had more important things to do than be with a teenager.
So, instead of waiting, you dated other people. None to which Klaus approved of, which now made since after they all did you wrong. That was until he meets James. James was a saint to Klaus. He was a werewolf, he treated you well and you really love him.
That was until a year later when you caught him cheating with a girl named Aura. She was an enemy to Klaus. Not only did he agree with Klaus to take her down, but he also promised he would not let him down.
You don't break promises to the Mikaelsons.
When you stormed away from the restaurant he was at with her you were angry. The calm sky was soon dark with black clouds. In that instant, Elijah and Klaus knew you were upset.
As soon as you arrived home you slammed the door shut and was met by Klaus and Elijah. "What has happened? Are you okay?" Ask Klaus.
You looked up at him with tears threatening to fall, "James is cheating on me." You said. Klaus and Elijah stood silent. "With Aura." And that broke the silence with Klaus.
"He's a dead man!" Yelled Klaus has he stormed off.

Two months later:
You were still hurt by James but Klaus has handled him and you didn't want to know-how. Today was the worst day. Even worse then the day he cheated. Today you killed a man by accident.
"Elijah, I need help. It was an accident." You called.
"I'm on my way." He spoke
So Elijah picked you up and drove for what seemed like hours and he was silent. The rain started to pour out of the sky as Elijah stopped at a local park that was empty. You looked down at your trembling hands as tears slowly dropped out of your eyes, but they weren't over the dead man, they were over James. And Elijah knew.
"Y/N, I hate to see you like this. You are too beautiful to let a boy make you cry." He told you softly. He shifted his body towards you so he could see you.
You looked up with a broken smile. "You are beautiful, talented, smart. Do not let this boy make you feel any less. Anyone would be lucky to have you. Today was an accident. Don't let this get to you either. We all make mistakes." He said as he wiped your tears away.
You sat up straight and looked at him. "I just want someone who will love me and not cheat. I spent a year and a half and I really thought he was the one. I want someone to love me no matter what right or wrong I do that no matter what he will be there. I just want a man like you, Elijah. Someone who listens and cares and someone who doesn't betray."
Deep down, he did love and care for you. He grabbed your hand and brought your head to his lips and he kissed your forehead. "I have always loved you Y/N. But I will wait for your broken heart to mend back together. I will be there for you. I will shower you with love. I love you so much." He stayed.
"You love me?" You asked in shock. For years you waited for him to say this. He nodded. "Elijah. I've been waiting for years for you to say that." You said as tears streamed fast down your face. Happy tears but yet sad tears.
"Don't cry, love. I want to see your pretty blue eyes sparkle." He said as he kissed you.
