Aaand we finally started it! David and Goliath, biblical style, this is just the sketch on canvas, but it will be painted with oil colors!
Foliage and thorns of bramble (Rubus ulmifolius). It is true that bramble is an extremely common plant, but it is also beautiful: one of my favorites. The harmony of the shape of the leaves and its beautiful thorns, the intense color, are all things that I like and that I think should be immortalized.

An hungry cat tries to enter into a team of rodents and... well, the finale could be easily guessed. This squad gets to know their new team mate from a definitely closer perspective that they could have imagined in this traditional comic, commissioned to us by RodonEndwell on FurAffinity!

This was one of those ideas that, if we had more time, could have looked a little different than raccoons with vague ghostly impressions from the other side of the page... But having a technically perfect drawing for this would have been a disservice to its message: such is art 😂

Monochrome is Starless Stygian Diamond's personal attendant (and probably best friend), and one of the two first gems she ever created. Innocent, but quite clever and easy going, Mono didn't need much time before figuring out her place in the new world her Diamond was creating under her very eyes; she loves Starless Stygian dearly, and can get a little fussy over her wellbeing and happiness.
