ok then. fix the search. you know, the search function that has been notoriously broken for YEARS. that ppl have complained abt FOR YEARS

make it easier to follow tags, allow ppl to filter out other tags when searching thru them, or to search multiple tags at once, and make these functions EASY TO USE and widely known

give a clear guide on HOW tagging works! what will exclude a tag, etc

#both users and creators have complained about the search for years#and how we make stuff that never made it to the tag or search page for no reason#following a tag always forced you to see the same 3 posts a million times#algorithmic recommendations is a major complaint everywhere becase it boosts things that already gained traction#and theres tons of bots clogging the tags ....#talking about recommendations. when i get to the tumblr front page i start getting like 80 bot followers daily#one time i amassed THOUSANDS of them i cannot possibly comb through#the new image viewer sucks so much#theres a reason people love posting detailed artwork and elaborate photosets here#because we cant enywhere else#these are my complaints as an artists as a user i have others#but i encourage anyone who is not happy about tumblr changes to write at support or leave a negative review on app stores

Hi, just a bit of rambling here

When I made a twitter account like a year...or two ago, I never really liked the format plus a lot of the vibes I got was that people were a bit more relaxed when it came to their art accounts, they would post more personal thoughts, tons of doodles and retweet from fellow artists, and I don’t like the twitter format PLUS I like it here... I never really wanted to go and say different stuff on a whole other website, idk. I also made a threads account yesterday and I already regret it... but tons of artists I follow on instagram started posting stuff i never see from them lol

So, with this prelude, I wanted to ask if you guys are interested on seeing more incomplete stuff, doodles, (even more) process pics and some art adjacent related stuff that I do, whether it’s here on this blog keeping everything together, or in another semi art semi personal account here on tumblr, which would be optional to follow and wont occupy more space than some finished artworks and to keep things tidy.

im finishing up that farcille drawing i started 6 months ago 💀 i got in a slump bc i started painting in more details than i initially wanted and then got upset about it. i just made peace with it and only have to put a structure in the background

Hi! I was not planning to specifically but it's always good to know there's interest for it!

I made the sprout alongside a rumbling mushroom for an event and since they were pretty much straight like the earthbound sprites I didn't give them much promotion. I think it would be fun to make more of them and other funky earthbound enemies, with a little bit of my own flair.

I will keep this in mind!
