Reviving for the actual facts

I always found it interesting how the movie made this white man character actively anti-racist when he was emphatically not in real life and made Kirsten Dunst’s character the ultimate racist Karen when her clearest counterpart in the book was anti-racist, to the point of being hassled by white employees over being too friendly with the Black computers.
