also it just occured to me that june 3rd was my dad's birthday, and i genuinely never made that connection before??? i blame the language barrier..... so much of my childhood was based on how numbers sound, and "june the third" just sounds nothing like "der dritte sechste".

how freaky is it that rhys just had a conversation about dan aykroyd's ghost encounter on the penpal podcast, and meanwhile dan (schreiber) was just talking to dan aykroyd about weird stuff on his podcast...
STOP. moment of gratitude for those precious times of breathing from your nostrils when you don't have a stuffy nose

normally when he says "back to me" it's comedic arrogance and makes me laugh, but in this one case i was just like omg yes thank you
I may be alone in this, but Anthony Head played Rupert so well that when he was at the end of his rope with everything, lost it and pushed George... his walking back off the pitch actually brought tears to my eyes.
You could see how broken and lost he was feeling. His personal life is blowing up, and for the first time the press and public are not on his side. And then his team is performing badly, and it's all George's fault, obviously.
Tony could have so easily put no emotion into Rupert and have him seem like a guy who doesn't care. But he didn't. You could see the unravelling happening and him showing himself get emotional about it shows that although he is an absolute monster, he is still human
It just felt so real. 'Twas beautiful to see! I adore Tony as an actor, have for years, and I'm so glad he was cast in this role! He made a character that could have so easily become a caricature incredibly real.
