With these hopeless days and sleepless nights, I struggle to find a reason to continue on and fight For what's the point of even continuing When politicians and society are ruining The future you have worked so damned so hard for Then here comes those student loans knocking at your door Reminding you of life's ugly side And yet we are all expected to let it slide. We all want change and new lives.. But yet we all got so used to the strife That we just live with these problems. Because we've lost the power to solve them. It seems every year a new law is passed, That basically tells the constitution to "Kiss my ass!" Because politicians found a small loop hole. Since when was tricking ourselves determined cool? All I want is a change to where I see a better future. Instead of these brainwashing politicians formatting us like were computers.
