✨ a responsive call-out post ✨

I sent a message to tumblr user @ssubsoo regarding her call-out post (which seems to be done in bad taste, despite claiming that she only intends to /warn/ other people about the toxicity of a certain ksoo stan, what a nice initiative, right?) but her response to my message gives me the impression that she totally missed my point and what I was trying to get across. So here we go! Another tumblr post. Because sadly the tumblr ask character limit isn’t enough to cover everything I want to say.

Out of love for Kyungsoo. Out of genuine concern. 

What exactly constitutes “love” and “concern” for Kyungsoo? 

Does that include gathering your mob of other anti!kyungporn stans, turning them against her by screenshotting snippets of her blog (which you obviously doesn’t dig, but you still end up browsing so much of it you have an entire Dropbox folder dedicated to her blog’s screenshots, so), and twisting her words out of context so it can fit your agenda of policing what a kyungsoo stan should do? 

Or perhaps that includes calling out a stranger on the internet and making the assumption that she could be a psychopath who can suddenly go “school shooter mode” while using her blog’s tags as your basis?

Imagine disliking someone (or their blog) so much you spend years tracking down their tags and organizing them even in a Dropbox folder you share with your friends when you can simply block the said blog if you don’t like it in the first place. 

Or better yet, talk to the owner of the blog herself because apparently, you had this issue with her for a long time already, it seems. But no, let’s suddenly take out these screenshots, compile them in a blog post, and /call out/ the said person because that’s such a mature way of addressing the ‘problem’!

Ahh. You think it’s completely toxic that this particular ksoo stan thinks her idol has the “capacity” to be a “rapist”, “murderer” etc. 

But guess what? 

You’re doing exactly the same thing that you accuse her of doing. What makes you think that you know that the person behind the blog is mean, condescending, is not gay, and fetishizes homosexuality? Based on the tags on her blog? Based on the content she puts out? Because honey, if that’s really how you think, then I might as well tell you that it reeks of hypocrisy here.
