wimbledon this year. firstly, after the match this insane moment where it looked like they were leaning in for a kiss. jannik was looking at carlos' lips... it was wild. then immediately after that... instagate, which is what im calling it bc it was jannik SPAM posting story and post after post... and in every like. every comment section. almost every repost was carlos who deffo had notifs on bc he was lightning fast at this shit. xxxx
then six kings 24... the time when jannik at six kings was like everyday i wake up and think about how to beat him... and the interviewer was like. so.. everyday you wake up and think about him 🤔🤨🤨 and he got all flustered 😳😅😁.. and carlos is like 😁😁😁😁 BEAMING. ok brother. carlos superglued to jannik and jannik picking confetti out carlos' hair reminiscent of roger doing the same in 2009
this is definitely more than 5 moments... ill keep going anyways.. carlos said in a press con 'i need- i need him, you know, on the tour' bc of how jannik pushes him to be better... like for the us open he was playing so insane and he mentioned he had a 15 day training camp for sinner, to beat him. hes said so many times he loves to play jannik, to be pushed further etc and how he hopes him and jannik have a 'long, beautiful future ahead of them'. also that jannik means a lot to him.. this is sum gay shit
theres also umag 2022 where jannik won his first and to date only clay title double breadsticking (winning a set 6-1) to carlos... they were so cute. also those trophies are sexy
and there was this moment that was like a scene from a fucking coming of age film.. this was the first time they played a final together and it was The Start. some more about this time with a SICK edit by ellie. THE FIREWORKS!!! they were so young and they laughed so much...
AND OMG. almost forgot the time when jannik went to TRAIN at carlos' academy and they practised TOGETHER and when there was a court named after carlos he filmed it all on his phone and never released any of it... this was Huge.
any time they talk about each other in their post match speeches... rome 25 when carlos was like u can talk in italian i can understand and was beaming like this (credit to @/romanticrivalries for this bc there is no video of the ceremony in my country)

• ⚠︎ fake news — someone tweeted that on july 5 2024, at wimbledon, jannik said that he mainly listened to rock and that he didn't know who taylor swift was. the tweet went viral and the information was repeated as fact in numerous platforms. however, he never said that, and the reported question was never even asked to begin with

• in his rome vlog in may 2025, we can see for a moment on his phone his liked songs list on spotify. someone on twitter deciphered what the songs were, and then someone else discovered what the song he was currently playing was (incredible)
• in may 2025, the official roland-garros account asked players "what winning sounds like", and told them to choose a song they would like the dj to play after they won. they made a spotify playlist with all the answers. jannik's pick was "Save Tonight" by Eagle-Eye Cherry (sadly he's not one of the players who appear in the video talking about their song)
• he collaborated in a song with legendary italian singer Andrea Bocelli, called "Polvere e Gloria" ("Dust and Glory"), in june 2025. about this collaboration, he said:
