When Isaac Lahey was younger, he had a happy life. He was the son of two loving parents and he looked up to his older brother. However, when his brother went off to the military when Isaac was twelve, things began to change. His father began drinking out of worry for his son and snapping at him more often. Things grew worse when they received word that Camden Lahey had been killed. Over night, Isaac’s entire life changed and not even a week later, his mother had committed suicide, leaving only Isaac and his father. His father’s drinking problem sky-rocketed and the man began to grow angry. With nowhere else to turn, his father turned his anger onto his son. Isaac began to show up to school with bruises and scrapes and emotional wounds that he lied and laughed off and no one even realized what was going on.

When he met Derek Hale and the man gave him an offer, he couldn’t resist. He allowed Derek to turn him into a werewolf, knowing it would give him the strength to fight back against his father. However, only days afterwards, his father was killed and when the police found evidence of his abuse, he was immediately the number one suspect. Terrified, Isaac stayed in hiding with Derek and his other two pack mates, Erica and Boyd. As time passed, they eventually discovered that it was Jackson Whittemore as a Kanima who killed his father and managed to get Isaac’s name cleared (although, they blamed it all on Matt Daehler).

The roller coaster that he called his life continued down a large hill as an Alpha Pack killed Erica and Boyd and he had to work together with Scott McCall and his friends to defeat a Darach. After Derek lost his alpha powers, Isaac was quick to submit to Scott McCall as his alpha. It helped that Melissa McCall, Scott’s mom, had taken him in as well. The pack has never had a quiet moment. The Nogisune attack took more than just a bit of strength from Isaac, it took one of his best friends and at the time girlfriend. Losing Allison broke Isaac’s heart, and he had to go to France for a while with Chris Argent to try to recover.

No there’s a new threat to Beacon Hills, and he can’t just sit back and allow more of his friends to die. He’s come back to help those that he cares about. The last thing Isaac wants is to bury another friend and pack member, especially if they won’t stay buried.

• Scott McCall- Isaac’s new alpha whom he trusts entirely and would risk his life for. He’s enjoyed living with him after Derek kicked him out, allowing himself to actually feel as if he was apart of a family.
• Allison Argent - Allison went from being the girl that tried to kill him to being the girl he started to fall in love with. The two started dating a little while after her and Scott broke up. Losing her took a toll on him.
• Derek Hale- Derek was Isaac’s original alpha. He was hurt when Derek kicked him out of the house. Truthfully he felt betrayed. While they’re on decent terms now, it’s still a bit awkward between them.
