I'd wager it's probably because the use of the word "lewd" there is, rather than embracing them, an attempt to sanitize or downplay sex and horniness (even if it either doesn't work or has the opposite effect).
It’s okay to forgive yourself. Sometimes we feel like we could have done more to protect ourselves. Sometimes we feel like we let ourselves down. And, please at the end of the day, remember that what other people choose to do is not your fault. It’s okay to forgive yourself.
