My twitter is Rabid_Hound if you want to keep up to date on how he does

I know I haven't been active at all but I'm at a loss for what to do during COVID19...

Why you should never buy sex toys on Amazon.

I see people on here all the time talking about buying sex toys on Amazon so it’s time to run through this again. I know it may seem like you’re saving money but when something seems too good to be true it usually is.

  • The main reason you shouldn’t buy sex toys on Amazon is that, unlike buying from reputable retailers, you have absolutely no garuntee that the product you’re buying hasn’t been used, returned, and resold. The sex you industy in America is almost completely unregulated so really can’t trust amazon to hold better business practices than legally required. People have found bodily fluid and pubic hair on toys purchased from Amazon.
  • The second biggest reason is that you’re more than likely buying an expensive knock off labeled as a brand name item. The way the amazon marketplace works is by sorting items with the same bar code name into the same catagory. So let’s say you want a wi vibe so you pay for one but what happens is that amazon doesn’t log a difference between a brand name Wi-vibe and a knock off from China. They’re both just labeled “wi-vibe” so you pay for a quality item and get a cheap knock off. So you may think you’re getting a high quality item for $50 but instead you’re getting a $10 look alike that will die and malfunction quickly. Imagine paying for a Lelo (the most luxury sex toy brand) and getting something nothing like that.
  • And lastly, it’s not safe for you! Because the chances of you getting a knock off are so high, it’s very likely that you’ll get something made out of harmful materials. A lot of the sex toys made cheaply in China and places like that have no body safe regulations on materials so not only could you pay for a brand name item and not get it , but you might actually get something that could make you sick or even poison you. Some toys will even leak oils and chemicals when exposed to water or fluids.

In summation, buying from Amazon is NOT safe for you, will most likely rip you off, and you could even be getting used products.

Below I’m listing Dangerous Lily’s list of best places to buy. I recommend reading her reviews before purchasing anything expensive.

Where to buy:

And directly from the brand retailor like we-vibe, Lelo, body wand, etc.

HOLY SHIT

I would like to add Babeland to the list of reputable retailers!! They’re awesome.

THIS SAME SHIT HAPPENED TO ME AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY OR RESEND THE PACKAGE

practical advice if that happens to you contact your credit card company (or PayPal or however you paid). Give them every info you have. I ordered from the Bonjour Jolie box that was going around on Tumblr, and they offered a scent free one on the website so I ordered it, and they sent me one with scented products (which made me allergic to the whole box) and when I complained they refunded the additional $2 charge for scent-free only and said they no longer offer scent-free, which I said I wouldn’t’ve ordered if I knew because I have allergies and they were like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so I forwarded it to Visa and Visa cancelled the payment getting me my money back.

Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Paypal all have way more clout with vendors than you do, and they will be able to use that to punish companies taking advantage of consumers if there is a pattern of lack of care consider reporting to the Better Business Bureau or other local consumer advocacy groups.

Don’t let companies get away with this shit, if you pay for a product you have to get it or a refund, this doesn’t mean you have to be rude, but it’s your money.

Wash your vulva with a gentle cleanser but not your vagina. Water is not enough.

I said what I said.

Summers eve makes a foam wash that I really like, and during periods I use the wet wipes often, but keep a few in my purse as needed. Honestly, why do women accept hygiene tips so graciously but you tell men they should wipe their penis after peeing and it’s a hate crime?

Image

Summer’s Eve would be a good brand if they didn’t have any fragrances in them.

Always putting fragrance in something.

Always!!!!!! Your pussy don’t need to smell like flowers or fruit!

Y’all try honeypot!!!!!!

these are my favorite products!!!

they’re inclusive too!! aaand they’re made by a black woman! And it’s all plant based. they have so many products!!

*tosses all Summer’s Eve products in the trash can*

Hmmm the more you know

I love being unexpectedly put on to black-owned products, more posts like this please!

(reposting bc OP was a terf)

For everyone’s information:

The plan for the 17th, when the adult content ban comes in, is to protest.

To do that, we are making as much noise either side of the 17th as possible, and using the site as normal.

On the 17th, dead silence.

People are saying log off but what they really mean is don’t open the site or the app.

But, on the 17th make as much noise as possible on every other platform. Tweet about it and post on facebook and instagram and everywhere else.

What this does is causes a massive dip in ad revenue for one single day. That does not make staff think ‘oh everyone’s gone let’s shut down.’ What it actually makes them think is ‘oh shit people aren’t happy and if people don’t keep using our site we’re out of money and out of jobs.’

A boycott reminds a company that the users (consumers) have the power to make their site (business) worthless with one single coordinated decision.

If you want to join in, here’s what to do:

Do:
  • Close all open instances of the app and site on all your devices before the 17th
  • Make posts before and after the 17th on tumblr and other platforms, talking about why this ban is bad
  • Make posts on other sites during the 17th. Flood the official tumblr staff twitter and facebook with your anger and your opinion
  • Come back on the 18th and check in
Don’t:
  • Delete the app from your phone (this doesn’t affect their revenue and since it’s off the store at the moment it’ll be hard to get back)
  • Delete your account. I mean you can if you want to, but if you keep your account and don’t use it you’re saying to staff that there’s still time to save it. If you delete it’s hard work to come back.
  • Open the app or website (including specific blogs)
  • Make any posts (turn down/off your queue and make sure nothing is scheduled)
  • Go quiet elsewhere. Make it clear that this is just about tumblr, not a mass move away from all social media.

Remember: the execs don’t care about anything but money. Shutting down the site means there’s $0 further income from it. That’s their last possible course of action. If we make it clear we’re not happy, they’ll have to do something or we can do more and more until it becomes too expensive.

Protests take commitment. They’re a defiant action against a business that is doing something wrong. They will try to scare you into not participating, because they’re scared. We hold all the power here, sometimes the execs just need to be reminded of that.

PSA: Halloween is pretty much here and it only takes on second to send a sick child in the hospital a Spook-o-gram. The best part about this is that $1 gets donated to CHLA’s Helping Hand fund each time you send one out. So let’s help some kids have a spectacular Halloween by sending them spook-o-grams and helping cause!!

This literally costs nothing but your time so please do it, you could make a kids Halloween.

Okay so as those of you who use PayPal are probably aware, PayPal has this new credit card type thing that they’re DESPERATE for people to use.

So I was buying something with Paypal and suddenly mid check out i noticed something that said I was signing up for their credit card, like not asking me if I want to buy it, one click away as if I was about to finish a transaction for it. I scrolled down and saw a “cancel transaction” button, pressed it, and suddenly I was back to my checkout screen. PayPal now has a pop up screen that looks almost identical to their normal checkout screen, which will pop up while you’re mid-transaction and try to trick you into signing up for their credit card. Keep an eye out.

Can we all just appreciate how Beauty Bakery is a small, indie brand yet they’re making such a difference and a STATEMENT with their products in the beauty industry? They didn’t follow the regular shade range categorization(lightest to darkest), they changed it and went dark to light. Such a simple change, but it never seizes to amaze me how something like that can make people feel included. It’s 2018 and makeup brands still continue to come out with 15 shades of beige. You can have 15 shades while being inclusive. 5 shades light, 5 medium and 5 dark-deep. If small brands can do it then big brands can do it too.

Ex: Tarte came out with 20 light-medium shades(or something like that) and 3 medium-dark ones. People with darker complexions should NOT have to wait, either come out with 30 inclusive shades or don’t even try.
Thank you Beauty Bakery for making a difference.

YOO SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE

Save a marker, SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

It’s called the crayola colorcycle program! As on its FAQ, they mention the following:

“Crayola ColorCycle will accept all brands of plastic markers, not just Crayola markers. That includes dry erase markers and highlighters! ColorCycle will eliminate placing hundreds of tons of markers into landfills.”

There do seem to be some limits, however, as far as I can tell, anyone can ship in a box of markers. “Any sturdy cardboard box with minimal outer markings will work. The more markers you ship, the more efficient this program will be. We suggest a minimum of 100 markers and a maximum of up to 40 pounds.”

Also, look for the Crayon Initiative

Their whole things work with used, donated crayons they melt and make new ones to donate to children’s hospitals.
