but it is important that we do not shy away from the reality of that choice. it is a human life that is being ended. a person with interiority, feelings, family.

if we stop considering any group as people, even a group defined by their own evil actions, then we are drawing a line to divide society into persons and non-persons, and stating that those non-persons do not deserve to live.

i hope i dont need to explain why that is a dangerous position to take.

these people and all of their evil, their greed, their hatred, are just as much a part of humanity as art, culture, language, food. they are a part of us that has grown malignant and cancerous, and like a cancer, they must be excised for the sake of the whole--but they are still a part of us, made of the same stuff as us, down to their cores.

i know nobody reads urls but ive seen @/anjew-jackson on my dash for a Couple posts recently and guys. cmon. Cmon. its bad. theyre an antisemitic, transphobic, homophobic troll. one post they have going around is the dads when someone says its hot out tiktok, which has been edited to a stupid transphobic text post, and their comment on this one as well (as far as i can tell, everyone in that for frodo part of the rb chain sucks ass too) lets just all take a second to block and not circulate their shit anymore

The devs of this website are so childish and cannot respond to criticism. People are giving very elegant and verbose criticisms, without hatred, genuine criticism, and then the staff are whining and crying about it. Imagine being this hostile toward your userbase and then begging them for money; touting memes and jokes that you stole from them. And that's another thing -- nothing about the memes and jokes the staff & devs parade around is their own original thoughts. They mock the userbase they steal from then wonder why that userbase is actively hostile toward them back.

I know SEVERAL afab nonbinary people who, as soon as they came out as nonbinary - immediately began dressing in ridiculous hyper-femme outfits they never would have worn before.  A lot of people see this and say shit like “Theyfab” or say they are only nonbinary for attention.  After all, look how femme they are.

But to me, this makes perfect sense.  When you are forced into the category of “woman” against your will, femininity is a chore.  It’s a job that you have.  As soon as you say no, I’m not a woman, suddenly femininity isn’t your job anymore.  It’s not a requirement.  It’s just a fun hobby you can get into.  Or a little treat sometimes.
