Welcome to my collection of fan art faves! This blog is mostly for me to organize my favorite posts, but feel free to enjoy yourself while you're here. I will try to give feedback to all of the pieces I reblog through the reblog itself or comments later. Also say hello to our mascot Sir Derpeon

An outsider overhearing an argument between Tucker and Wash and when Wash walks away, they just go up to Tucker like “wow, you’re lucky to have a husband that cares so much for you” and Tucker doesn’t even correct them, just glares and asks “that looked fucking lucky to you?!”

Church asks why Tucker didn’t correct them and Wash is in earshot, so he comes over. Tucker just shrugs and is like “I’m kind of flattered. Like Wash is kind of the dad, so that would make me the mom. Which would be cool.” Wash is speechless but Grif is like “Why would that be cool?” and Tucker says “cuz you’d all have to fucking listen to me. otherwise, no one gets food”

But Tucker gets really into it and every time hell breaks loose, Tucker starts slamming his fist on tables and yelling things like “you kids are giving me a headache!” and “this was not how I raised you!” and “you dare defy your mother!?”

Wash asks him to stop for fuck’s sake but a lot of good that does

Tucker starts coming to Wash’s rescue when others argue with him like “kids, listen to your father” and slipping his arm into Wash’s every time Wash wants to make an announcement and saying “your father and I have been talking”

Grif starts to yell random things like “ARE YOU GETTING A DIVORCE OH GOD NO” and “I’M SIXTEEN, I’M A GROWN WOMAN”

Caboose starts calling Tucker mom

Tucker starts threatening Wash with no sex. “Captain Tucker, we don’t have sex” “BECAUSE YOU WON’T LISTEN TO ME” “No, really, like we have never had sex” “THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYING” “You can’t threaten to stop what’s never even started” “YOU’LL MISS IT” “Oh my god”

[ID: 4-page color digital comic of Vash and Wolfwood from Trigun Maximum. The color palette is of limited teals, their skin tones, yellow, orange, and black. The first page begins with the pair in bed, a view of them from the foot of the bed as Vash peers over a lied down Wolfwood. The panel shifts to an up close expression of Vash's, soft eyes as he looks at Wolfwood's peaceful sleeping face. He leans against his arms to observe quietly, until Wolfwood began to mumble and groan in his sleep. The speech bubble reads "Mn, uh... ugh... No..." Wolfwood continues to mumble, "No... don't..." as Vash reached over to stroke his face in comfort. Wolfwood breaks into a sob and Vash pulled his hand away with a look of concern.

Wolfwood continues to sob and Vash begins to shake him gently as he mutters, "Wolfwood... Wolfwood." Wolfwood quiets for a moment before he shifts and says, "Huh? Spikey?" Vash leans down with a “mhm." Wolfwood sits up, rubs his face with his palm, muttering, "The hell? What time is it?" Vash responds, "It's still early." Wolfwood mumbles back, "Ah? Then why... Oh, whatever..." before lying back down. Vash still isn't lying down, leaning over Wolfwood as he asks. "Are you going back to sleep?" Wolfwood says, "No," before swinging an arm over Vash's shoulders, pulling him down. Vash exclaims, "Woah!" before they're both lying next to one another. With an arm over Vash still and Vash putting a hand against Wolfwood's cheek, Wolfwood asks, "Why are ya still up?" Vash smiles sheepishly, "Um... Just couldn't sleep." There's a smaller panel to the side of a chibi-style Vash looking at a sleeping Wolfwood, the text in the panel points at Vash, reading "Weird fascination watching him sleep."

The 3rd page begins from Wolfwood's point of view now, starting with him sitting up in bed, smoking, one hand over his lap and the other combing Vash's hair. Vash then starts to groan in his sleep and Wolfwood glances down at him, thinking "Again...", slipping the cigarette out of his mouth and putting it out as he starts to lean down to the sniffling Vash. vash mumbles, "Rem... sniff... Rem... Rem..." Wolfwood lies down next to Vash and pulls him into a close embrace, a hand at his nape and the other over Vash's head, holding two of Vash's fingers as Vash tries to dig aggressively into his own scalp. Vash continues to sob, "Rem... I'm sorry... sniff..." Vash's grip starts to loosen, letting out an "ugh" before he peers up with tears in his eyes and mumbles "Uh... Wolfwood?" Wolfwood responds, "Go back to sleep. You need to rest," while using a thumb to wipe the tears away.

Vash leans closer into Wolfwood, closing his eyes again, quietly going back to sleep. Wolfwood holds him, still talking, "Just focus on sleeping. I got ya." Vash lets out a small sound and Wolfwood says again, "I got ya." Two panel strips is then used to show a pass in time. The pair still in bed, still close, but Vash is now leaning against Wolfwood's shoulder with a goofy sleepy smile, drooling against him as he mumbles. "Yum yum... More please..." with sound text reading "chew chew". Wolfwood has a tired expression, one being all too familiar with this same scenario. Vash then moves away from Wolfwood's shoulder and now lies on his back, still chewing in his sleep. Wolfwood reaches over and squishes Vash's cheek with a hand, stopping the chewing. He continues to squish Vash's cheeks, muttering to himself, "Pft. So dumb..." END ID]

Post-July, Wolfwood tracks down Amnesiac!Vash living as Eriks and says 'you know what, fuck it, this is fine' and just settles down in the town as the local undertaker/holy man (he's terrible at it, but it's a small enough town that no one can afford to be terribly picky about these things) to keep an eye out for any bounty hunters who might get funny ideas and interrupt the only peace Vash has probably had in the last 150 years.

It's the first time Wolfwood's had anything close to a 'normal' life since he left the orphanage, even if he insists it's just a job (that he assigned himself, with no pay, and no end in sight), and it's... actually kind of nice. Maybe. Boring, but he's gone long enough without having to chug a vial of the serum that he can almost forget what it tasted like, and the kids here are kinda cute and not too spooked by the preacher man in black, and when Eriks smiles it looks real.

Everything is fine.
