Don't Read The Small Print

@froglegmermaid

You read the small print, dammit.

HAPPY ARO WEEK EVERYONE shout out to the axmurph household for creating aro d&d characters of all time (moonshine cybin and riz gukgak)

Even in the Harley Quinn Show, I think Ivy is a lesbian who was going through a lot of comphet because she only wanted to be with Kiteman because it would make her life stable and easy, she loved him but not in that way.

Ivy can be completely herself with Harley, it's messy and not at all the life she envisioned but her love for Harley in S3 shows a clear difference from her love for Kiteman. Even in her relationship with Kiteman, she has always put Harley first. Also, she never initiates with him, she just follows his lead in every part of their relationship. With Harley, they're both initiating and engaging in their relationship.

As we coast on in towards the end of another episode, I look at the saved frames left...

…and see what you might dub “gifs that make you go hmmm.”

Stuff that’s strange, but not, like, its-own-post-level strange.

Y’know. Daphne hair…

that just can’t make up its mind where it’s meant to sit.

Insert “Captain Haddock’s beard when he sleeps” joke here… for all the 3 other people who know 1940s Tintin comics. I’ve got all the current references, folks.

Shaggy climbing a pole, in a scene which…

…were you to find the animation cel for sale, would be really easy to verify.

“Man, Shaggy climbs all the time in the show, this could be from anywhe– oh. Never mind. They showed the cel identification in the actual episode.”

And lastly, some paint that got dripped on the–

…not gonna lie, I didn’t notice Velma’s hair until I zoomed in, and that sorta steals the show now

Here we go. I'm trembling in my seat… it's time to get spooked for Halloween.

Oh man. A promising intro, no doubt…

Oooooooh.

Outskirts of the nocturnal city.

A single car cuts through the fog across a perilous bridge into the unknown.

The destination:

A formidable ocean liner, illuminated yet dormant, jutting starkly out of the cold night air–

…huh?

*squints*

Wait, it’s Josie And The Pussyca

I mean, it’s Speed Buggy

I mean, it’s Goober And The Ghost Chas

I mean it’s those weirdos from The Funky Phantom–

…nope.

Guess I’m not familiar with this particular band of teenage super-sleuths after all?

Well, the spookiness can still be retained, let’s get back to the creepy–

…prehistoric… record… player?

No, that’s not right, wasn’t it was a creepy ocean liner? This is–

…well, I do appreciate the mysterious arm reaching in, but we should really be–

Ah, yes! That’s more like it!

Docked in port, heaving out of the water as if in defiance of the laws of physics themselves, this testament to humanity’s might and–

…no.

What? No.

Now there’s a raisin covered with hair. Badly cosplaying a ladybug. I didn’t… I didn’t sign up for this, I just wanted to be spooked a little for–

…what have I done.

What have I done.

Why have I voluntarily chosen to submit myself to 1977′s Captain Caveman?

looks like halloween’s gonna be extra scary this year, folks

I was on a bus once when this guy tapped my knee and pointed out that we were the only two people not looking at their phones and then asked what I was thinking about.

sometimes when I’m having a bad day I relive the moment I saw the his manic pixi dream girl hopes draining from his eyes and fill up with confusion and boredom as I explained to him I was thinking about which Rupaul’s Drag Race challenges Frank n Furter would preform best in and locked him into the conversation until it was my stop

he clearly could not handle your level of manic pixie dream girl

There's plenty of trepidation venturing into an unknown cartoon.

Will it have the patented Hanna-Barbera cheapness? Will there even be humor to find?!

Will the characters–…

Nope. Nothing to worry about.

What was I even thinking. It’s ‘70s Hanna-Barbera, of course there’s gonna be wacky mistakes.

I’m sorry I doubted you and your vibrating mouthes, Teen Angels 1 through 3.

I really like how many of the world’s most iconic structures and places are just right next to some of the most mundane stuff imaginable, for example

Stonehenge

Is right next to a busy road

The Pyramids of Giza

Are at the outskirts of Cairo

Niagara Falls

Are part of the town of the same name

And Agrippa’s Pantheon

Is crammed inside downtown Rome

It just so interesting to notice.

Alright, folks, it’s finally here... the mistake so many of you have asked me about!

Shaggy having Fred’s hair.

Apparently, a decent number of you noticed this when you were young – great job, Scooby-sleuths.

For literal years whenever I’d open a post in a new tab, this would be the first suggestion beneath.

Always. Without fail.

Every time y’all make it appear in the reblogs you give me major flashbacks.
