Thinking about how Severus Snape, a poor, abused boy who never had anyone care for him, clung onto the tiniest bit of kindness he ever received, leading to him defecting and becoming a spy, and was later willing to die saving the Wizarding World even if it meant he was a villain in the eyes of the people he was secretly protecting, and then died a painful death thinking everyone on both sides despised him and would never know of his heroic sacrifice.

> Solrock ☀️ : this one is a reference to the Black family, which names most of its members according to a star or a constellation (Sirius, Orion, Bellatrix ...)
> Absol 🍀 : According to the Pokédex in Pokémon Ruby: "Whenever Absol appears in front of people, a catastrophe like an earthquake or a tidal wave occurs soon after. It has become infamous as the Disastrous Pokémon." Something to remind a certain Sinistros ...
> Pangoro 🐼 : not only does his Dark/Fighting dual-type and bellicose demeanor match the character well, but the section of his description that says he can't stand the weakest being attcked allows me to add nuance to my opinion on this morally grey character (even if he often found himself in the camp of those who attack the weakest, precisely ><)
> Mightyena 🐺 : Padfoot, Sirius Black, a black dog... Flawless logic
> Houndoom 😈 : a good mix of Pangoro and Mightyena : a black dog doubled as a rebel

> Pandarbare 🐼 : non seulement son double-type Ténèbres/Combat et son comportement belliqueux correspondent bien au personnage, mais la section de sa description disant qu'il ne supporte pas qu'on s'en prenne aux plus faibles me permet d'apporter de la nuance à mon avis sur ce personnage moralement gris (même si il s'est souvent retrouvé dans le camp de ceux qui s'en prennent aux faibles, justement)
> Grahyèna 🐺 : Patmol, Sirius Black, un chien noir... Pas déconnant, en somme
> Démolosse 😈 : un bon mix de Pandarbare et Grahyèna : un chien noir doublé d'un rebelle

🇬🇧 As a huge fan of the Pokémon franchise, I love to imagine the Pokémon teams of my characters *-* I couldn't not do the same for my favorite fictional character ^^
> Seviper 🐍 : obviously, I couldn't put together a team for Severus Snape without including the poison-type Snake Pokémon whose name begins with "Sev" x)
> The lake guardians 🧠 : on this point, I admit, I cheated a little 👌🏻 Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf represent the spirit, respectively emotion, knowledge and willingness. Knowing our Slytherin's disposition for occlumency, and knowing that it matches all three characteristics, I found it coherent to incorporate all three 🤷♀️
> Honchkrow 🪶 : within Snapedom, I noticed that there was a debate about what his Patronus would be if it hadn't been a doe. The option that I find the most relevant is the crow. I had the choice between Corboss and Corvaillus, but I preferred the one whose design is inspired by a wizard 🧙♂️ instead of the knight 🗡🛡 (although the latter would have also suited)
> Deerling 🦌 : the most common in posts like this, and it's easy to see why x) Too bad there is no female Sawsbuck ♀️

Connaissant les dispositions de notre Serpentard pour l'occlumencie, et sachant qu'il correspond à ces trois caractéristiques, j'ai trouvé cohérent de les intégrer tous les trois 🤷♀️
> Corboss 🪶 : au sein du Snapedom, j'ai remarqué qu'il y avait un débat sur ce que serait son Patronus si il n'avait pas été une biche. L'option que je trouve la plus pertinente est le corbeau. J'avais le choix entre Corboss et Corvaillus, mais j'ai préféré celui dont le design est inspiré d'un sorcier 🧙♂️ au chevalier 🗡🛡 (même si ce dernier aurait également convenu)
> Vivaldaim 🦌 : le plus récurent dans les posts de ce genre, et c'est facile de comprendre pourquoi x) Dommage qu'il n'existe pas d'Haydaim femelle dans le design ♀️
> Bruyverne 🦇 : en référence à son surnom, "la chauve-souris des cachots", j'ai voulu choisir un Pokémon chauve-souris, et j'avais l'embarras du choix x)) Entre Nostenfer, Rhinolove, Scorvol et Bruyverne, j'ai choisi ce dernier. Sa couleur, son regard et l'espèce dont il semble être inspiré m'ont donné des vibes particulières
> Smogogo de Galar 🧪 : même si j'avais déjà Séviper qui était de type poison 💀, je me sentais obligée d'inclure un Pokémon en rapport avec les potions. Comme aucun n'y faisait directement référence, j'ai choisi Somogogo de Galar, dont la forme censée évoquer une centrale nucléaire ☢ (ou un haut-de-forme 🎩) m'a fait penser à des fioles de potion
J'ai hésité avec : Vipélierre 🌱 (Snivy en anglais) ; Blizzi ☃️ (Snover en anglais)

Okay here is the team I chose!
Umbreon🤝: Evolves at night only with high friendship, immune to psychic (not even the best legilimens is getting through here!) and it is known to secrete poison when it's angry! Plus I think the evolution from Eevee is a good metaphor for him as well, Eevee born with the potential to be so many different pokemon, so was Severus born with the potential to be so many great things. What ultimately defined his growth and journey was friendship and the bond between himself and Lily/Dumbledore.
Serperior👑: Definitely a nod to Snivy lol (in Sirius/Severus fanfics he sometimes gets called Snivy both as an insult and as a term of endearment) but I think it's a nice symbol of his growth, he grows from Snivy to a majestic Serperior, he grows from the little boy who's fighting for his destiny to a man who knows exactly who he is and where he belongs. Not only is it a snake but it's also known as the Regal pokemon so it's a nod to his Prince ancestry.
Crobat🕵♂️: Gotta include that bat lol another one that evolves only with high friendship. Its hidden ability is inflitrator, represents his role as a spy infiltrating secret organisations and the ranks of the most notorious wizards alive flawlessly 😎 Plus you gotta have a poison type on the roster!
Zoroark🪄: The only pokemon that has the ability illusion, represents his unique position as double agent and capabilites only he possessed. Its ability to disguise itself so that no one can know what it is but its trainer is like Snape disguising himself and keeping his intentions hidden to everyone but Dumbledore. It's also fiercely protective of its den just as Snape was protective of the students of Hogwarts!
Pyukumuku🏥: Pyukumuku is described as being covered in slime which seemed fitting for our favourite greasy bastard lol. It is also the only pokemon that can learn Purify, a healing move which I thought would be a good reference to Snape's unique expertise and how he was Dumbledore's personal healer and curse expert. Its ability Innards Out is also unique, it damages the foe pokemon that makes it faint which I thought was perfect considering how through Snape's own death he delivers the information key to taking down the one who kills him.
Shaymin🌸: Of course you can't forget a Lily haha. Tiny little flower that hides and is often overlooked, represents how his own goodness is sorely overlooked and hidden away. It is said to transform ruined lands into flower gardens, much like how his love for Lily transformed him from broken child to hero of the Wizarding world 🥰
