My demon prince asshole oc Flint is a closet fan of Journey but like hell he would tell anyone…. Unless he gets really really hammered and there’s a kareoke machine near by.

This isn't really a question about the characters, so much as it is about you. What slows you down when making comic pages and what gets you going?

Ooh, this is the first time someone asked me this I think!

Well what slows me down is a number of things, really. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to certain details so sometimes that slows me down when I work on something (I’m working on trying to improve that), and when I’ve been working on a page for what feels like a long time that also slows me down because I get tired of looking at it and want it to get finished faster. And sometimes I just have days where I just don’t feel confident at all in what I’m doing, and that’s the worst feeling in the world when you’re working on comics or art in general. That’s another thing I’m trying to work on, but usually in those cases I give myself a break from working on it and either work on something else or try to clear my head by going for a walk or watching a movie.

What gets me motivated is also a number of things. Listening to music, watching movies, reading other comics, and looking at work from other artists. Music and seeing awesome stuff from other artists is definitely what drives me the most.

Does Vince have any buddies in the cemetery? Has he ever been able to visit other cemeteries?

Pleasanton Cemetery has their own community with the residents that are resting there. While a few of the undead have their differences, everybody gets along pretty well. Vince occasionally chats up with a few of the “stiffs” there but he’s mostly been solitary since his death. 

As for visiting other cemeteries, there’s a rule that whoever is buried at Pleasanton stays in Pleasanton, both for their own safety and to erase suspicion that whoever is buried there doesn’t always stay buried. Even though Vince can’t stand being in one place for too long (especially since he’s been here since 1958), he doesn’t want to be riddled with bullets or get anyone else there involved so he follows the rules. It doesn’t stop him from ransacking the front office when the staff have already gone home, though. 

Gimme the drop on Vince. Did this guy have any big dreams for himself pre-mortem?

Vince never really thought too deeply about his future when he was alive, he was more concerned about having as much fun as possible before old age settled in. His two friends at the time were planning on opening a car customizing shop together after high school and offered Vince a spot if he ever changed his mind about having a career. They still run it today with their grandkids. 

Okay Vince, what's the most embarrassing Halloween costume you've ever worn?

As much as Vince protested, he wound up having to wear the clown outfit since his grandmother “worked so hard on it”. Surprisingly he got the most candy that year from all the sweet old ladies in his neighborhood and his friends at the time didn’t heckle him about it (when he was around anyway).
