@foulkingpaper

he / him, Life makes no damn sense, queer media compels me though...

Red white and royal blue movie was AMAZING!! in every way possible…

I just think it would have been even more amazing as a series… like not even a long one just 8 - 10 episodes or so …. Cause they did cut a lot of parts not directly related to the main love story..( Luna and Alex’s relationship, Alex going through his parents divorce, June looking out for Alex , Henry and bea’s relationship..and more ). And all these sideplots were as important as the main story …

Overall it’s a good movie that you can enjoy. Also to anyone who hasn’t read the book and watched the movie.. fo yourself a favour and read it .. u will not regret it .

part of my nimona viewing experience. idk why but i got super emotional in the first five minutes.

[ID: A comic juxtaposing screenshots from Nimona 2023 and drawings of a person watching the movie. The first screenshot is Ambrosius's introduction; he grins at the camera as the news anchors introduce him, his name in big print on the screen. The person watching thinks with a bored expression, "Ah. Ok. This guy is gonna be the jackass. Typical golden-boy stuck-up prince that thinks he's better than the underdog. I see where this is going.

The next screenshot is of Ambrosius and Ballister on the platform above the arena, Ambrosius doing his news anchor bit and saying, "Aaand will Ballister be broody on the biggest day of his life?" Ballister laughs at his antics. The person watching now has a small smile, as they think, "Huh! Aw, they're actually nice to each other and are friends! I wasn't expecting that, that's nice-"

The third and final screenshot is a shot from behind of Ballister leaning his head on Ambrosius's shoulder. The caption reads "the knighting ceremony is just moments away." The person watching now has a touched, soft expression, like they're holding back tears. They think "OH." as a partially transparent doodle behind them bends over crying and blubbering, with another doodle showing their heart shot through with an arrow. /end ID]

This is EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!!!!

PS : and then he chops his arm off !!! And i was like ..😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

we dont know anything about Benoit Blanc's husband except that hes called Philip but i want him to be a retired jewel thief who Benoit met during a case after he was hired to locate some stolen diamonds and Philip was posing as a gardener and Benoit kept asking him increasingly complicated questions about gardening so Philip thought he was onto him but really Benoit just thought he was hot and asked Philip out but the entire time Philip was like this is some kind of gambit so kept getting weirder and weirder until Benoit was like what is up with you so Philip confessed the whole thing and Benoit was like oh shit. but the guy he robbed was a total asshole so Benoit was like whatever it's fine so they started dating and the diamonds ended up paying for their apartment

Yess… this needs to be made into a movie immediately..

KNIVES OUT 3 : THE JEWEL THEIF 💎

can't help it, my favourite character will always be the funny one who is actually deeply traumatised and sad as fuck or eventually will go through some of the nastiest shit and will suffer some more to the point of breaking - and still will fall in love again.

bonus points if they go insane.

I love villains that are the reverse of the idea that the absence of love makes you evil. Villains that love to the point of paranoia and obsession. Villains whose love for someone corrupts them. Love being used for awful, evil things. Using love to justify horrific actions. Anything that breaks down the toxic idea that people who don’t feel love are monsters and those who feel love are always pure and heroic and morally right.

Ayan, picking his favorite lube: It just sucks that he's pretty much committing crimes to uphold the school reputation.
Ayan, posing sexily in bed: I can't believe I'm gonna fuck him.

i get that people are more comfortable with defined rules and structure but i also think queer people lost when they started resorting to dictionary definitions for what labels mean

the queer umbrella is meant to deviate from the norm of rigid boxes and definitions and to decide that lesbian means Only this, bi means Only this, etc, is directly contradicting what queer means. each and every label is going to have a unique meaning to the person using it and that is how it's supposed to be. if you're not comfortable with that...sorry?

basically if someone tries to tell you you're using a label wrong:

  • no you're not
  • eat them
