you are not somehow less of a vegan if you are in a situation where you cannot avoid all animal products. everyone's circumstances are different and that is okay. you do your best and that is wonderful. you are not a non-vegan, you are a vegan who has to rely on some form of animal product (or other usage of animals) you are doing a great job and i think you are an important part of the community <3

“Wool and leather are renewable resources!!! They’re good for the environment!!!” The “renewability” of these products is due to the fact that they are bred by humans to reproduce at a rate they never would without human intervention. It’s animal exploitation.

Coincidentally, everyone saying these products are good for the environment don’t factor in land use and waste created by the massive amounts of animals needed to meet consumer demand.
