Empire Season 4 Episode 8 Recap 1. Lucious brought the family together to talk about Andre. 2. Tiana slapped Hakeem in the face. 3. Andre started drinking again. 4. Warren told Cookie about Andre’s psychiatrist and how he’s been messing with Andre’s meds. 5. Andre accidentally snapped Pamela’s neck and killed her.

Empire Season 4 Episode 7 Recap 1. Hakeem watched Anika, Angelo and Bella from the bushes in the park. 2. Cookie tried to talk the engineers out of going on strike. 3. Jamal finally found out that Diana is Warren's aunt. 4. Jamal punched Warren, which caused them to have a fight. 5. Porsha stood outside Empire and lead the crowd in a chant.

Empire Season 4 Episode 6 Recap 1. Angelo told the court that Anika could offer Bella a stable home while Hakeem is a rap star who would only bring danger to his daughter. 2. During recess, Hakeem fired his lawyer. 3. Angelo's mother Diane told the court that she visited with Hakeem and Bella every Tuesday. 4. The judge awarded Anika with full custody given the danger the Lyons posed. 5. Cookie called Diane a bitch.

Empire Season 4 Episode 5 Recap 1. Cookie turned on TMZ, with reports of Lucious and his memory loss. 2. Shine invited Cookie, Lucious and the press to see him perform in the studio. 3. Hakeem told Tiana that he is taking Bella to Cuba. 4. Cookie ran to find Hakeem before he tried to leave to Cuba. 5. Jamal sang in the studio while Eddie listened on the other side of the glass, dancing.

Empire Season 4 Episode 4 Recap 1. Cookie shared with Lucious tales from her prison days. 2. Lucious recollects bringing Jamal to visit but not ever coming back to see Cookie himself. 3. Lucious volunteered to go with Cookie to Empire Entertainment for the day and support her. 4. Lucious listened to Hakeem's new single. 5. Lucious accused Cookie of thriving on pain, being needlessly cruel to people all day. 6. Angelo attended Bella's party at Anika's invitation. 7. Diana leaked Lucious' memory loss to the press.

Empire Season 4 Episode 3 Recap 1. Cookie and Andre met with an executive at the bank, who could not extend Empire a line of credit. 2. Anika showed up at Hakeem's place wanting to see Bella. 3. Cookie confessed to Lucious that she went to prison for 17 years. 4. Thirsty told Andre that he couldn't find Giuliana. 5. Cookie agreed to give Shine 5 albums.

Empire Season 4 Episode 2 Recap 1. Lucious slipped in the bathtub and his psychotic mother Leah attempted to drown him to "expel demons from him" until Lucious's nurse Claudia stopped her. 2. Claudia took Lucious to a diner in Philadelphia he used to frequently eat at in order to help trigger some memories. 3. Jamal began recording a new song that is intended to be recorded for a new movie. 4. Cookie met with Anika in jail after Bakeem helped set up the encounter. 5. Anika returned home in hopes of re-claiming h r daughter Bella. 6. Two FBI agents showed up to Empire and inquired about the whereabouts of Giuliana Green. 7. Cookie went behind Andre's back and announced a major new project Empire is developing: the release of 20 new records over the next year to celebrate the label's 20th anniversary. 8. Cookie became angry with her eldest son for being insolent. 9. Claudia told Lucious she is abandoning her role as his caretaker because she felt he no longer trusts her.

Empire Season 4 Episode 1 Recap 1. Andre confronted Shine about why the police were still investigating. 2. Mrs. DuBois came over to remind Hakeem that he has to continue bringing Bella to their house every Tuesday. 3. Claudia insisted Lucious' family call him "Dwight." 4. At dinner, Lucious tried to reconnect with his family. 5. Jamal and Hakeem introduced Lucious, as everyone waited with bated breath to see if he'll come out or not. 6. Andre got a phone call from Shine, who's sitting in the car with the guy who did the explosion.

Empire Season 3 Episode 18 Recap 1. Lucious called his home, where his mom began ranting about putting steel in his enemy. 2. Lucious' mom called Anika and told her to come over to the house and get her stuff before she throws it away. 3. Charlotte ranted about Tupac and Suge Knight's brawl at the venue in the 90's. 4. Cookie and Lucious sit Hakeem down and tried to talk some sense into him. 5. Hakeem barged into the DuBois house where Angelo was standing there with his mother and Anika. 6. Lucious put Giuliana in her place and informed her that Cookie is the women that he loves and the mother of her kids. 7. Cookie was shocked when Lucious revealed that he's part of the show and he even wrote a song about her. 8. Andre was shocked when Lucious hands him his office keys. 9. Lucious pushes Cookie to safety just as the bomb goes off, and he's sent flying across the pavement. 10. Three months later, Lucious is in a coma. 11. Lucious miraculously opens his eyes...but has no idea who they are and doesn't recognize Cookie or the boys.

Empire Season 3 Episode 17 Recap 1. Cookie told Lucious their top priority is to find Bella and bring her home. 2. Charlotte met with Giuliana who insisted Inferno is going to be the biggest live show Vegas has ever seen promising they are going to do the strip what Hamilton did for Broadway. 3. Giuliana blamed lawyer Thirsty for not knowing she was Mormon. 4. Jamal was upset that his father would stall his album. 5. Cookie flipped out when she learned Giuliana was the one who recommended Byron. 6. Thirsty told Cookie that Giuliana let him go but for the record he respects her gangster and she is a good mother. 7. Becky attempted to stop Nessa and Tiana from fighting when they learn both their budgets have been cut. 8. Lucious told Tariq that CPS illegally took his granddaughter and is somehow lost in the system with no paper trail.

Empire Season 3 Episode 16 Recap 1. Jamal and Thirsty stopped Cookie from jumping across the table and attacking Diana. 2. Angelo said his family had nothing to do with whatever happened to the Lyon's baby. 3. Anika and Hakeem quickly learned they cannot find their daughter in the system. 4. Thirsty said Anika needs to divorce Lucious showing she is making an assertive effort to distance herself from the family. 5. Cookie told Porsha the album is a masterpiece but its not going to get Lucious where she wants him to be. 6. Cookie and Andre met with their Vegas contract saying Lucious is lying to him about Inferno and that he doesn't have Empire's biggest star, Jamal Lyon with him. 7. Lucious' big idea for the remix is to bring a new emcee, Tyree. 8. While rapping, though, Tyree starts bleeding through his shirt where he was shot.

Empire Season 3 Episode 15 Recap 1. Cookie stunned Lucious with her breakup news. 2. Cookie Learned Andre and Shine had a deadly revenge plot against Lucious. 3. Angelo had Leviticus shut down. 4. Jamal wanted his family to "go high" for a change, volunteering to serve as a peacemaker. 5. Hakeem used the streaming service to publicly declare himself a devoted father no matter whose name was on the birth certificate. 6. The Lyons had a dinner to celebrate defeating both Tariq and Angelo. 7. Child Protection Services and the Police showed up to take Bella over child endangerment claims.

Empire Season 3 Episode 14 Recap 1. Cookie told Lucious that Angelo will possibly propose to her. 2. Lucious told Cookie that Giuliana is "a very dangerous woman." 3. Andre and Juicy wanted Tory to write a song for Nessa. 4. Jamal gave Angelo bad advice. 5. Cookie met Juicy formally, when they ran into each other in the Empire Lobby. 6. Anika visited Tariq. 7. Cookie visited Angelo. 8. Hakeem, Tiana, and Tory released Tory's new track live via Empire Xstream. 9. Cookie came to Tory Ash's performance, ready to tell Lucious her love for him. 10. Cookie watched Lucious share a kiss with Giuliana.

Empire Season 3 Episode 13 Recap 1. Jamal and Cookie worked on the music video for Jamal's "Dangerous" - a funky, Bruno Mars-esque duet with Delphine. 2. The music video tells the story of Cookie and Lucious' die-for-each-other early days. 3. Cookie convinced Jamal to put out a teaser for the video on his Empire Xstream channel. 4. Empire got hit with a lawsuit for $50 million by Kennedy, Tiana's friend who got assaulted by the random goon Hakeem had hired for his birthday party. 5. Anika asked Cookie flat-out if she'll personally be Bella's guardian if Anika goes to jail or gets killed. 6. Giuliano mentions the "arrangement" to Nessa, wondering whether she can hang with them when Nessa and Andre move in together. 7. Lucious tells Andre he's fired for insubordination. 8. Angelo tried to make his thank you speech, but Lucious grabbed a mic and started taking over, saying he is the one who helped Angelo win because his endorsement of John Meeks made Angelo a stronger candidate. 9. Lucious interrupts Angelo even further to start playing Cookie a song on the piano.

Empire Season 3 Episode 12 Recap 1. Jamal woke up to pings from his phone. 2. Cookie figured out that Tariq is still after her and is trying to flip Anika. 3. Lucious was upset with the body guard he had for his mother. 4. Hakeem gave them ideas for his present but Cookie said they cannot celebrate until some of the drama calms down. 5. Andre talked about Nessa being at the grand opening of his strip club. 6. Cookie asked Angelo DuBois if he could find out where they have Anika stashed. 7. Cookie told Angelo she never shot anyone before. 8. Anika's mother got her a burner phone, so she could call Lucious and tell him she didn't go with Tariq. 9. Cookie was worried she is losing her Street credit being with Angelo. 10. Lucious called Cookie saying Anika called and wants to come home.

Empire Season 3 Episode 11 Recap 1. Cookie reminisces back to when her daddy kicked her out and Lucious put her in a motel room. 2. Becky, Tiana and Hakeem Lyon were busy with dancer auditions for the video for her next single. 3. Jamal continued to work with Tory Ash in the studio. 4. Freda Gatz was making a drop while Andre introduced Andre to Danger. 5. Angelo saw a bruise on Cookie's arm. 6. Tory and Jamal began arguing about the song's they were creating. 7. Cookie reminded Jamal that his father is not to hear anything they are creating. 8. Cookie left saying "Play that funky music white girl!"

Empire Season 3 Episode 10 Recap 1. Lucious announced Inferno, his new music project, much to Cookie's surprise. 2. With a showcase in the works, Andre wanted to get Nessa a spot, while Hakeem wanted the gig for Tiana. 3. At the showcase, Tiana and Hakeem interrupted Nessa's performance with a duet. 4. Cookie, Hakeem and Andre visited Jamal with n rehab for the first time, where they met another patient, burnt out singer Tory Ash. 5. Jamal and Tory snuck out of rehab to record music. 6. Lucious learned he was being investigated for Frank Gather's death. 7. Lucious surprised everyone by naming Anika as the new head of A&R and crediting her for Empire's success. 8. Cookie accused Lucious of replacing her with Anika.

1. Lucious announces his new music project, Inferno. 2. Cookie and Lucious will engage in an epic clash-fueled by a history of love, loyalty and betrayal. 3.
