Give yourself permission to immediately walk away from anything that gives you bad vibes. There is no need to explain or make sense of it. Just trust what you feel.

I totally remember watching this as a kid and thinking that looked like the most delicious biscuit/cookie in the world

me too!

when in reality was’t it a ritz cracker dipped in water?

THAT’S CREME A LA CREME A LA EDGAR YOU IGNORANT SWINE

every so often I sometimes get a mug of milk, add a splash of vanilla extract, a spoonful of sugar, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and heat it in the microwave and have it with Ritz Crackers and pretend it’s Creme A La Creme A La Edgar and it’s seriously just the best.

I JUST MADE THAT MYSELF AND AM CURRENTLY HAVING RITZ CRACKERS WITH IT AND LEMME TELL YOU THIS SHIT IS DELICIOUS

SOMEONE FOUND THE RECIPE TO CREME A LA CREME A LA EDGAR

I also always thought this looked amazing. Like, really amazing. So weird. Haha.

YES

How bout no? I don’t care what the message is. If you’re a stranger and you see me walking down the street the best way for you to respect me is to leave me alone. Maybe don’t interrupt my day, take up my time even if it’s just in passing, to startle me by yelling at me from across the street? This is still street harassment. In my opinion, it’s worse than the usual street harassment because men doing this wouldn’t think they are a part of that problem. Part of the problem is that men think we owe them our time and attention. They are still demanding our time and attention. Men feel entitled to share their opinions even when they aren’t asked for and aren’t concerned with how they will make the people they are sharing with feel. They are still doing that in this video. Being a women, I dread walking by construction sites knowing there’s a highly increased chance I’ll be cat called. They played on that. They also played on intentionally making these women uncomfortable before continuing to get to the point and even though most of the women seemed relieved afterwards, they were still uncomfortable at first. They did that on purpose. That is such an abusive, condescending, delusional behavior. This is like making a sexist joke and then saying “just kidding, I’m not sexist”. Just don’t make the sexist joke to begin with. Like what? This makes me so angry. I can’t even articulate how problematic this is.

Then there’s of course the whole fact that this video is blatantly making fun of feminism. If you actually watch the video it goes like most Snicker commercials go where they demonstrate “irrational” behavior and then they eat a Snickers and they go back to being themselves. “You’re not yourself when you’re hungry” or whatever. This is what they are using as the demonstration of “irrational” behavior.

Reblogging for the commentary. Sick of seeing people praise this.
