I don’t think I ever posted this before, but this is the cover art I did for @sheithunlimited in January. It was fun and I liked the result! Many thanks to several people in the sheith empire server who helped me with this.

Hi! I know you probably get asked this a lot but, what kind of brushes do you use for your shading? I'm trying to get better at it and your style of it is something I'm looking into. If it isn't to much trouble, could you give me an idea of what types of brushes you use?
Hi anon! I’m so flattered that you like my art! So, I use @bluekomadori‘s brushes in SAI and, when I occasionally do brushwork in photoshop, I either use the default brushes or Johannes Voss’s brushes. I don’t have the links handy, but you should be able to google both sets! With regards to the brushes I specifically use for shading, it really depends on the exact painting, but the brushes below are the ones I use most frequently. (I usually toggle with the density and the size to get exactly what I want.)
(Btw, I really like to make the marker an eraser and/or blend with it. And the ink pen is great for linework too!)
