I feel like I’ve already made it clear that I don’t watch ANY pet youtubers. I don’t WANT to watch any pet youtubers. I’m not going to watch them just so I can form an opinion on them. That’s homework and I’ve earned the right to never do homework again.

last night my partner held a somber little passover seder to show me what it’s about and when they got to the part where they were supposed to open the door for elijah they paused, frowned, and said “oh. huh. there is a clown.” and I looked out. and sure enough. there was a clown.
I have question following the cat fight ask.
I've been living with mom and daughter pair for about 12 years now. They always play fight exclusively with each other. Problem is the mom is 14ish years old now and become grumpy when her daughter initiate play fight, I wonder if I need to interfere? The daughter would stop after the mom yell at her, but this happen often.

There are 3 other cats in the house but this pair seem to just tolerate the others.
I'd suggest playing with the daughter more to tire her out so she doesn't bother mom so much. You also might want to get mama cat a vet appointment to see if she has arthritis or a similar joint problem. Chances are, it's just age bringing her down, but it never hurts to check!

We went on a long hike yesterday. I just kinda let him lead mostly and I'm not always sure where the property boundaries are. We found some unfamiliar fences so I think we might've wandered onto someone else's property for a hot minute.
Yardstick is so mad that I won't let him drink from the dirty dishes.
i’m sure you’ve answered this before, but how did yardstick lose his paw? was he born like that or was it an injury?
I'm relatively sure it's not from physical trauma. The very day I adopted him, I took him to the vet for x-rays to look for bone shards that might cause problems, but the bone was completely smooth. No sign of trauma at all.
So I'm fairly sure that his umbilical cord got wrapped around his paw and cut off the blood supply. He lost his paw either before birth or shortly afterwards. He's never known life any different.
I'm not sure how he lost his eye either. I know it was removed right the day before he was transferred to my rescue, but his records don't indicate WHY it was removed. Due to his young age, I'm guessing it's herpes related.
