I can’t believe some of ya’ll are still complaining that Max and Chloe are not in LIS 2 or even still insisting that good representation disappears with white lesbians. when we have
- Positive Latino representation
- Accurate depiction of police brutality and racism
- A best friend dealing with depression after the tragedy
- Non-Toxic male masculinity and showing grief
- A pansexual man
- A bisexual mexican man who is given the choice of admitting he’s Bi and choosing between two love interests
- The horrors of growing up as a gay man in an Evangelical nightmare and having your sister refused medical treatment while she is “faith healed”
- The random kindness from strangers after the cruel reality of the real world
- Showing that choosing your own personal happiness, but remembering that the well being of your children matters more
- Forgiving the person who hurt you the most if it meant bringing your brother home
- The hope of providing your brother a better life after a tragedy
