Note: I don't know Worm super well but if anyone knows if there's like, literally any official imagery at all I can use even if its like an extremely basic stock cover photo, I'm preferentially using things like that over fan art. But for now I've used the piece of fan art for Tattletale that's on the Worm Wiki, which they credit as coming from Sawitry

ADRIEN ALL THE WAY. Seriously, the entire plot ultimately revolves around his conception, around his family. I think one of the best things seasons 4 and 5 did was to start actually focusing on him more.
A surprisingly helpful bit of social maneuvering I've figured out from trial and error: Throughout your life, you are going to need things from people. Often, it's going to be on a deadline. And when that deadline passes, you generally want to know what's going on. So, you need to ask them.
There are two kinds of people, broadly, in this situation. The Shameless will tell you what the holdup is, with absolutely no regard for if the reason is "good enough". This is actually very helpful, because you get the real reason immediately, and can start working on a solution.
The Ashamed is trickier. People who are Ashamed are people who were often told they were giving excuses when they were trying to explain, and they'll often avoid you until they solve the problem on their own. This causes them and you a lot of stress, and often takes a lot longer to solve.
Long term, the strategy for dealing with people who are Ashamed is to provide a supportive environment where they're comfortable sharing any problems they're having with getting things done. But, there's a way to at least partially short-circuit that:
Provide an explanation for them.
One example might be "Hey Susan, I noticed that I don't have your report yet. Are you busy with other projects?" The readymade explanation signals that you're willing to accept an explanation, which is the big anxiety point.
Sometimes, you still won't get an honest answer- especially if the honest answer isn't "good enough" by the standards of the person who traumatized them. But, I've found that it often at least gets you a lie that lets you give them some slack or work around the problem.
Let's say that Susan has actually completely forgotten that she needed to do the report. She's horrified at herself, and completely unwilling to admit the real problem. But, she can now safely reply with "Sorry Jennifer, I've been swamped, and it got lost in the mix. I can have it to you in two days. Does that work?"
From there, so long as Susan gave an estimate for when she can actually do it, she and Jennifer can hash out a solution.
It's not a perfect solution, but it works astonishingly well for how small of a change it is.
I’m noticing an increase in new fic writers on AO3 who…uh…mayy not know how to format their fics correctly..so here is a quick and VERY important tip
Using a random fic of mine as example..
The left example: ✅✅✅
The right example: ❌❌❌
Idk how many times I’ve read a good fic summary and been so excited to read before clicking on it and being met with an ugly wall of text. When I see a huge text brick with zero full line breaks my eyes blur and I just siiiigh bc either I click out immediately or I grin and bear it…it’s insufferable!
If a new character speaks, you need a line break. If you notice a paragraph is becoming too large, go ahead and make a line break and/or maybe reconfigure the paragraph to flow better. I’m not a pro writer or even a huge fic writer but…please…ty…
This is a good thing to keep in mind! It is often and unfortunate that a really good fic doesn’t get love because its formatting makes it too difficult to read!
i’ve seen people say that books look like that though, which might be true, but reading a block of text on a piece of paper is different and a different kind of eye strain that reading the same text on a screen. Especially since AO3 formats based on the screen you read on.
legibility is incredibly important in work, both written and in art or comics. Did you ever notice that comics with extremely text rich speech bubbles are harder to read too?

Some shitty attempt at a Ladybug redesign

Oooh Luke would provide a good perspective! I love the glimpse we got in "The Diary of Luke Castellan". Getting his POV would provide a different take on all the major events of the first series, and help to flesh out his side more.

when adrien and marinette eventually move in together, i can see adrien trying really hard to enjoy sleeping in on the weekends. it's his chance to do nothing but snuggle up next to his favourite person in the world, and it's not like he ever liked waking up at the crack of dawn for photoshoots or other obligations
but...he's just not wired for it. he'll toss and turn. sometimes he gets up and tries to do something, often making marinette breakfast. but then she's still sleeping, and he doesn't want to wake her, and soon the coffee's cold and he still doesn't know what to do
he tries different ways to pass the time. he doesn't hate any of them, but god, he just doesn't like spending his mornings alone
so when they have kids eventually he loves hearing their little feet race into the room at 6am, loves the way marinette groans every time and he just laughs and kisses her forehead and lets tiny hands pull him down the stairs
and he knows this won't last forever. that one day they'll grow up and move out and he'll be back to lonely mornings that always bother him just a little more than he thinks they should
but there will always be that splatter on the ceiling from when the kids got a little too excited with the crepe batter that one day. or the coffee stain on the curtains that he and marinette kept forgetting to replace until eventually they gave up
and maybe the memory of a space filled with laughter is enough to keep him company after all

PROPAGANDA:
The basic premise of this tournament is this: characters who are not the original main character of their story will battle it out to see who would make the most interesting hypothetical main character if the story were re-written from their perspective.
Since this tournament is specifically perspective-flip oriented, the hypothetical being imagined isn't meant to be "what if this character completely replaced the original main character, and events unfolded differently because of it" but rather, "what if events unfolded as they did in the original story, just with this new character's point of view centered"? For characters who spend most of the original story off doing their own thing, this might still essentially amount to imagining an entirely new story being written around them with the original story now a mostly background event. For characters already mostly involved in main events, it might just mean having the same basic plot but with a new slant. Or something in between!
Round 1 is underway! Ten polls will be posted each day

No propaganda submitted
I like Whiteout, but she doesn't have enough info on what's going on in "Darkstalker", or a close enough look at everything to make for a great perspective on the story. Maybe she could have a short story taking place during it to give her perspective on her brother, but it wouldn't be enough to fill out a whole novel.
41. Redline vs Balto
Propaganda:
Redline
Stylish, fun, and with endless energy. Simultaneously a chill film and one with some of the best wild, over the top action I've seen. A classic among some nicher animation scenes but would benefit from some love from the modern openly into japanese animation generation. Also benefits from an awesome English dub.
Balto
I didn't rent this movie as a kid once a month for nothing
