Awww welcome aboard! 🥰

ive been drawing so much bg3 art commissions lately and having an absolute blast with them😂 (thank you for those who did commission- and huuuuge thank you for the patience! I’m slowly getting to the next one✍️one step at a time)

Hello, I love your art, it's so simple yet expressive! I'm curious about your process, do you block the color first and add lines, or add lines and then block colour in, then put more lines on top based on what it looks like?

Avatar

I do the very basic general outlines (main shapes) - block those in then add more lines depending (mostly just how much detail i feel like putting in 😂)

Hello! I came across your bg3 art and it's so beautiful to look at! I'm trying to look at how art is put together in an attempt to improve, can I ask, is there a method to what colour outline line you use in each line, or its just whatever you feel works best? (Like some lines are black, some brown etc) Have a wonderful week!

I’m definitely of the later- i usually just use the colors i think work best based on the moment: really no fixed hard and fast rules to it!

I literally just discovered your art and omg it’s so amazing I need to consume it

if you don’t mind me asking tho, where you do you find inspo/references for your poses? they’re so fluid and I need to know the secret

Avatar

My references pretty much consist of all the characters in front profile back 3/4 view in game 😂 as for poses they are drawn when the feels hit/i get the inspiration to tell a certain scene/story- then i try to recreate that image from my head (i usually dont bother finding pose ref just cuz its never the same as the one in your mind though if im uncertain about something- taking pics of your own anatomy posing works better)

i am literally buzzing waiting for when you have time to open ur comms. ur art style is just so fluid and you use colors so nicely and i am insane over ur bg3 art

Avatar

Awww this is too sweet! I usually post first hand (insta-story) on instagram before mentioning on tumblr so if you want the latest news- getting it there would be the safest bet 👀

just found your grisha!kaz fanart, and first off it’s SICK i love it, i’ve been obsessed with the concept forever and you brought it to life so well. second off if you’re looking for recs, i’m currently reading “the wishing well” series on ao3, it’s some of the most interesting execution of the idea i’ve seen so far. that’s all, enjoy your night, and thank you for sharing your art with us!!

Avatar

Awww thank you so much I’m surprised that there’s so many people out there who enjoy grisha!kaz- utterly glad to see this brain worm spread. I’ll definitely be giving the fic a go!!! Thank you for the rec💕

For the bg3 art, I was curious how you decided which outlines should be black, colored, or completely absent. What's the process there look like if you don't mind explaining?

Avatar

Hi hi! This sounds weird and nonsensical but honestly there isnt any rules i have for my outlines- i usually just do what i feel is right? If i had to put that into words I guess the outlines are more for me to get some contrast- idk if that makes sense (its really is just vibes as to where i place them)

Avatar

Hey! I know your commissions are closed but just wanted to check if it's possible. Do you take commissions for bg3 personal characters? 🤩 I'm obsessed with your art style X

Avatar

Yes ABSOLUTELY! (I have been drawing people’s ocs and dnd characters for years now- definitely will be having a swell time drawing any personal bg3 characters)

Avatar

hello!! how do you decide where you put black lines in your art vs where you leave open? is there any sort of method to it or is it primarily based off of vibes?

Avatar

Vibes all the way! There are times when I look back at the work I’ve done in the past and questioned why I have put a line there😂
