Silly Goofy

@first-rule-of-clown-club

Honk Honk - hello! make sure to read the pinned post, ya goofs.

Hi! We're Clowns, apparently. We are:

  • An adult system, specifically PF-DID.
  • Engaging with discourse on our OWN terms.
  • An autistic fool who's special interest is mental health (especially regarding trauma based disorders ♡)
  • Constantly doubting everything all the goddamn time.
  • NOT willing to hand out private information. (Pronouns are it/its or he/him.)

What we support:

  • The lgbtqia+ community
  • Neopronouns/genders, when taken seriously (all actual identities are valid (minus transid/radqueer), trolls and aforementioned groups are not.)
  • BLM
  • Tone indicators

DNI if you:

  • Post mainly about religion or religious trauma/abuse (you're perfectly valid, we just try to stay away from religious content as a whole for personal reasons.)
  • Send anon hate
  • Are any kind of lgbtqia+phobe (ace/arophobia, bi/panphobia, bi/pan lesbianphobia, and any hate against microlabels is unacceptable lmao. You don't need to understand to be accepting.)
  • A transmed or terf
  • Are uncomfortable with the usage of the word Queer
  • Believe in Narcissistic Abuse/Narc Abuse
  • Use the term yandere to describe real people (yourself included)
  • Are unwilling to learn that psychopath and sociopath are not only the same thing, but are also ableist and outdated and just plain rude
  • Demonize literally any disorder.

Feel free to:

  • Send asks
  • Send submissions
  • Send messages
  • Reblog ANYTHING that ISN'T marked Do Not Reblog

Please refrain from:

  • Sending us heavy vents
  • Sending us anything lewd
  • Sending really gorey gore
  • Sending ANY discourse. If we interact with it, feel free to chime in. Don't send us unsolicited drama.

Hey, it's so good to meet all of you. We hope you enjoy your stay!

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Hello, all! I am DELIGHTED to announce that I am currently running a discord server for adult DID systems and its currently invite ONLY.

It's completely unfiltered, there is NO blacklist and no off limits.

Me and @l0st-identity made it together, to try and fight some of the purity culture on social media as well as hopefully give some trauma survivors a totally judgement free safe space to talk about trauma, even more severe or weird trauma, with people who GET it.

Of course, the only real requirements are to be a bodily adult DID/OSDD system, and to be mature and respectful!

If this sounds like the place for you, you can dm me or the awesome individual I tagged above for the invite. ^^

we can argue about queer rep in media until the heat death of the universe (and we will!) but u gotta admit: when someone says ‘the gay pirate show’ or ‘the gay vampire show’ or ‘the cartoon with the girlfriends with magic powers’ and you have to say “which one?” it feels pretty good

People keep tagging this with shows that are not the shows I was thinking of when I wrote this, which is wonderful.

Someone in an autism facebook group I'm in just asked "How am I supposed to earn enough to make a living without burning out?"

Someone replied: "You're not. Even neurotypicals can't right now in the system designed for them. We're the canaries in the coalmine. When we start failing, they know something is wrong."

People keep saying, "Oh, everyone thinks they're neurodivergent now!" or they'll say it's the foods or chemicals or whatever other nonsense they've fallen for, but to me the answer is so obvious?

We've gotten to a point that more and more people are being left behind by the system, making it so that neurodivergent parents who could get by fine *enough* in decades/centuries past are bringing children into a world that cannot and will not attempt to accommodate them. There's nothing in the water and people aren't faking, it's just that this is no longer sustainable or livable and of course people with disabilities will be hit first and hit the hardest. There aren't more people with it, it's just harder to go through life without being aware that you're not functioning the way your peers seem to be able to.

Did you know? Or did you forget? You can do whatever you want with your art. Put random scribbles wherever. Horizontal lines over your character. Add dots everywhere and on everything. Draw eyes different than the rest of the face. Change art styles halfway through. Cut and glue paper cutouts. Use paints and markers together. Use all the filters. Use photos on top to add texture.

You can do what you want. Like literally literally literally.

Add a rubber ducky in the corner for no reason, put text in different languages on the background, leave your handprints or wipe your fingers on the paper.

Go have fun now this stuff isn't meant to be stressful for you

*raises my hand to ask a question* what if we collectively refused to refer to AI as 'AI'? it's not artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence doesn't currently exist, it's just algorithms that use stolen input to reinforce prejudice. what if we protested by using a more accurate name? just spitballing here but what about Automated Biased Output (ABO for short)

I've been informed that in australia, "Abo" is a slur against Aboriginal people. therefore a respectful and clear differentiation must be made:

  1. when spoken aloud, 'A.B.O' (Automated Biased Output) should have the distinct pronunciation of an acronym (Aee-Bee-Oh).
  2. the written form becomes a little trickier in the age of social media, where periods and capitalization are often considered optional. therefore, i would suggest a less common punctuation mark to distinguish the acronymic version of "Automated Biased Output"

in summary: a more descriptive, respectful, and practical term for Artificial Intelligence is, quite logically, A/B/O

....Alpha/Beta/Omega
