The Revenge's muppetifying powers are getting stronger. Got ned low's crew in just a couple hours

Probably because of all the excess power it had remaining after having to charge up for so long just to turn izzy

No but seriously,

The way The Revenge is a safe space (ship) and actually works to spread that safety to anyone who spends a significant amount of time on it?

Stede gets to figure out who Stede Bonnet is and what he likes and what he's good at and finally have people who like him back

Ed got to pull away from 'Blackbeard' and be as soft as he wants. He got to play around and have fun and have (first and foremost) a friend (and later friends) who saw past the image of Blackbeard

The Crew got a place where they can be as soft, tender & queer as they want. They got a place where they can have vacations and look out for each other and hug and cry and listen to stories and bake wedding cakes for fun and throw (pride) parties and do drag. They got a place where a death of a bird is taken extremely seriously because the bird was part of the crew too.

Jim got a place where they could be Jim without having to bend to any rigid gender norms or expectations and no one questions it beyond asking if they were secretly a mermaid

Izzy got a place where he could find out who he is as a queer man and who he is outside of Blackbeard and he found people who, in spite of everything, were willing to support him

Ned Low's Crew got to learn what it was like to be heard and respected and seen as people rather than as disposable lackeys

The Revenge is a home and a community, an explicitly queer community, and the only way I'm accepting the 'Ed&Stede run off to start an inn' thing is if it's a floating inn and if The Crew are there with them because splitting up the found family at the end of season 3 (which we are definitely getting shut up) would be the worst thing imo and would break me

So these past few episode ran the fucking gambit but what I'm really here for is the implication that Stede is the one that throws the spiders overboard because Ed's afraid of them

moments of silence for the brave soldiers who survived good omens s2, who suffered after the finale and then slowly built a shred of hope of getting healed by ofmd s2 only to get punched in the guts, spitted on, and clowned.

Looking forward to the possible return of

Phil: Hello Dan and Phil Games [random noun]!

Dan: [random noun]?

Phil: [Defensive Justification]!

It was the highlight of every video for me

"Yeah but were you like born a boy or a girl?"

I was born against my wishes and have spent the past 30 years figuring out how to make everyone else regret it more than I do. Next question.

Ultimately blackbonnet and the pirate wives had mlm/wlw solidarity!

If it weren't for anne bringing how stede left his wife twice, literally opening the conversation for them, it probably would've taken ed and stede a little while before they talked things out because ed really didn't want to be anywhere around stede at that moment..

And if it weren't for ed and stede seemingly working things out and ed pointing out how bored mary and anne are, they would've probably just ignored their problems and went on to essentially hating/being unsatisfied with their lives..

They literally forced eachother to confront their problems and to a certain extent work it out in their own ways!! At the end of the day they're pirates so their solidarity is a little hostile..

just thought i should mention how good taika is, acting with his eyes

like during ed's kraken era, even when ed's smiling, there's this tension in his eyes. you know thay smile isn't real. his eyes seem glossy, like tears threatening to come out but won't

after stede comes back to him, even when ed's furrowing his eyebrows, you can see that his gaze has visibly softened. not as hard, there's warmth. it's like he's seeing things again and not just blinded by pain and anger and frustration. he sees color again.

I like the idea of ofmd being a play some college theater major wrote as an excuse to get to kiss his crush. But it's a group project, so he has to begrudgingly add other people's ideas, and some are so outlandish that he has to take a walk around the building before agreeing to it.

Like:

"I'll just pepper in the fact that Stede and Blackbeard are in fact soulmates..."

"Okay, but what if my character turned into a seagall...?"

"Excuse me...?"
