not a lot gets this man flustered, but if you’re confident and go for it and get Volo before he gets you, you can BET that he’ll be blushing. surprise him, forget about being opportunistic—you MAKE that opportunity appear yourself—and Volo will be a mess for a moment. but watch out, this man recovers fast, and before you know it, he’ll be trying to make you flustered even more than he was!

this worked for me, assuming you have the uBlock browser extension installed (you might as well it’s a super duper Ad Blocker and site blocker -- I used it to get rid of Tw*tter Embeds which started being an immense source of page lag due to tw*tter's ongoing death spiral):
- I went into “Manage Extensions”
- then scrolled down to uBlock
- then clicked its “Options” button
- then went to “My Filters” tab
- then just pasted those lines in:
and now I don’t see the Tumbler / Creepy-Privacy-Invasion-Policy-Streaming-Company team-up promotional pictures at the top of my tumblr-dot-com page, or the "Live" icon at the top string of icons section on the left :D

A new way to navigate Tumblr
If you use Tumblr on a web browser, you might have noticed us testing a brand new navigation on your dashboard in the last month. Now, after some extensive tweaks, we’ve begun rolling out this new dashboard navigation to everyone using a web browser. Welcome to the new world. It’s very like the old world, just in a different layout.
Why are we doing this? We want it to be as easy as possible for everyone to understand and explore what’s happening on Tumblr—newbies and seasoned travelers alike.
Labels over icons: When adding something new to Tumblr in the past, we’d simply add a new icon to our navigation with little further explanation. Turns out no one likes to press a button when they don’t know what it does. So now, where there’s space, the navigation includes text labels. Since adding these, we’ve noticed more of you venturing to previously unexplored corners of Tumblr. Intrepid!
What’s already been fixed? Thanks to feedback from folks during the testing phase, we’ve been able to make some improvements right out of the gate. Those include returning settings subpages (Account, Dashboard, etc.) to the right of the settings page instead of having them in an expandable item in the navigation on the left; fixing some issues with messaging windows on smaller screens; and streamlining the Account section to make it easier to get to your blogs.
What’s next? We’re looking into making a collapsible version of this navigation and improving the use of screen space for those of you with enormous screens. We’re also working on improving access to your account and sideblogs.

black and white 3: Integrating the Gimmicks
Unova was the generation before every region got its own battling Gimmick, and honestly, I don’t think they need their own. HOWEVER, I do think there are ways to bring back other Gimmicks, even the region exclusive ones.
If ONLY so we can see them used more in battle competitions
the BW3 is going to get all sorts of toys to play with lol.
Terra Orbs: Accessible Post-Game
- Imported from Paldea, these require recharging at unique stations only found in special PokeCenters
- unfortunately, these recharging stations have to be regularly shipped back to Paldea in order to recharge the Tera Crystals inside
- these are still in beta until Postgame
- They have been distributed to select trainers in but can be earned through a small series of tests
- this is the Paldea’s League way of checking to see if Unova is safe enough for them to be willing to participate in the Pokemon World Tournament
- the testing area is run by a Elite 4 member Rika and Poppy, as well as a champion-level student studying abroad
Dynmaxing: Accessible Post Game
- By far the least favored of the gimmicks in Unova due to the sheer SIZE of the affected pokemon being far greater than most infrastructure is design to handle, few areas allow it
- like Tera Orbs, Dynamax bands would require recharging from special “Eternal Lanterns”
- this is Macros Cosmo’ attempt to wheedle into the Unovan Market but has been notably unsuccessful
- the player would receive a dynamax band post-game out of sheer desperation, but would be unable to use it until recieving/finding one of these lanterns
- cannot be used in official league battles outside of the Pokemon World Tournament due to the buildings being unable to handle them
Z-Crystals/Z moves (+ bringing Grimsley and Colress back into Unova): accessible in early game
Castelia City:
- look if Galar can blatantly steel Silvally from Alola with NO EXPLANATION, Grimsley can sneak out of the country with a box full of Z-Crystals and a Z-Ring or two
- Only work with if the character has 1 of four special Alolan Totems (one from each island, each Z-Crystal only works with the Trial Captains associated diety)
- First Z-Ring and Z-Crystal (type only, no Species Z crystals) of your starter is free if you beat him in battle but the totem costs you 60,000 pokedollars, halved to 30k if you beat him again afterwords
- Will only sell you one Z-crystal a day for 15k of your choice IF you beat him
- If you loose you have to wait for the next day
- Only found at night
- Colress on the other hand, will give you a random Z Crystal (that you may or may not already have) if you beat him in battle using a Z Crystal (so he can study it’s energy)
- Once you have gotten all the Z-Crystals and Totems, the next time you see go to them they are together, they mention packing up their bags to try different haunts
- They leave with a final gift to them for their assistance/indulgence of their games (INSERT SOMETHING INSANELY HELPFUL BUT NOT PLOT RELEVANT- shiny charm maybe?)
- As soon as they leave the scene, the officer Jenny shows up, and asks the player if she/he/they have seen two suspicious/shady men with strange hair and coats
- The player can say yes and point in the direction they ran and send the Officer’s on their tail, or say no and point them in the wrong direction
- If player says No, Grimsley and Colress will appear occasionally through out the city and greet the player (possibly at Gear Station as challengers?)
- If the player rats them out Colress and Grimsley are never scene again
- Either way, this would lead to a later Post Game cutscene during the Pokemon World Tournament with Kukui regarding the missing totems and Z-Crystals where the player has the option to return the items or lie and keep them
- Player returns the Stolen Items (of course, half the games about being TRUTHFUL) to Kukui (as the Totem have been drained at that point)
- Kukui can now be used to “recharge” the Totems to real low access to Z-Moved
Mega-Evolution: accessibility early game
Nimbasa City
- Mega Ring with Key Stone gifted to player from dad after he returns to trip from Kalos, unfortunately he doesn’t have a mega stone for it, but that can be another adventure/quest for the player to work on!
- Mega-Crystals can be gifted from NPCs after helping them with requests or purchased at Gear station using BP (higher price items)
- Professor Augustine sent a bunch of mega stones to the Subway Bosses (pre-PLA) in an attempt to prove they were safe (after Hoenn’s smearing the public image of Mega-Evolution)
