So. Last week we saw Bells Hells successfully free Laudna from Delilah Briarwood. Except... is she freed? So long as Delilah is Laudna's Warlock Patron, Laudna would never truly be freed.
So I started thinking. Laudna was trapped by Delilah (as much as Laudna had trapped Delilah) and upon freeing her from the Corrupt Sun Tree, she vanished in a white light. Laudna... had started to move on. And given the history of Vox Machina with Delilah Briarwood and Laudna's own history... who better to greet Laudna than Vax'ildan, who is the latest Champion of the Raven Queen.
Of course, the whole point of Bells Hells going after Delilah was to free Laudna to bring her back... but there is another aspect that the Champion of the Raven Queen can play - as a new Patron for Laudna, one to help sever Laudna's connection to Delilah entirely.
It would be interesting if we end up seeing Vax as the new "voice" in Laudna's head... not a wicked and twisting one like Delilah was, but one who guides more and perhaps seeks to help repair some of the damages that Delilah wrought in the world, with Laudna's help.

Ok I want to say something controversial
But you are responsible for your own safe spaces. You can block tags, block words, block people.
“But i thought fandom was supposed to be a safe space” —yeah you have to curate it.
Unfortunately one persons’s safe space may be another persons’ trigger. That’s ok. Simply block them, block the tag, block the word etc. They can do the same for you.
Maybe I’m just out of touch, but I’ve been around since the days of “don’t like, don’t read” and that’s a good philosophy. If it squicks you, scroll past. If it causes you anxiety or upset, block! Plenty of people are responsive if you ask them to tag an upsetting trigger. And if they’re dicks about it, block em.
