I was dwelling on this idea of painting small sticker pages with cute little images for maybe a planner or a smartphone, that I can get done in almost no amount of time. They basically require mostly lots of ideas for lots of little paintings, plus - this was the most difficult part for me - quick action, quick thought process, quick execution. I tend to spend a lot of time finishing up little details, and that kind of working process has no details to work on! Which was a salvation for me. And here is my first super quick sticker page.

I'm planning on printing them on a transparent sticker paper, super hyped for it! There's going to be several pages like that since I ridiculously enjoyed working in that style, please let me know if this excites you! Let me know please.

Hi there! ✨ I'm back on track again with my stickers. This time I decided to paint a little looking stone on a ribbon, you know, that magical item you can use to find missing things, you just gotta look around through the hole in this stone, and you'll see it in no time. I based it on the one Coraline used in her quest of finding parents, I believe she had a malachite one, and I adore the texture of this stone, it looks like magic!

Hi my loves! I'm back on track again with the new sticker, this time it's this tiny test tube-ish bottle which resembles a little florarium with a magic flower inside. I guess you could wear it as a pendant, only the bung would have to fit in tightly. I like how cloudy the glass looks, as if this bottle is several centuries old and has a history behind, I really like that vibe in old things, gives it a mysterious touch.

Hi again! Another sticker is here, it's a herbal magical candle, probably a lavender one, considering its colour. There's a thread wrapped around it and a lunar amulet, the usual stuff! I also placed a little withered leave in there, I think it looks cute.

Hi guys! Remember I've been telling you I wanted to switch things up a bit and add new kind of content? This is it!

I got to admit, it's been literally ages since I practised any kind of academic approach to art, like drawing from life, guys, it's been ages and it's weird for me to think about. It never occurred to me that I stopped having a real-life image in front of me, which just has to be painted in an artistic way, nothing more (the exact academic approach), not only drawing from life but also from photos of real places, which I know is very different from 3D life drawing experience. It sounds so technologically advanced, can you imagine, graphic is so good out there in life, plus there are additional senses added like smell of flowers and wind in your hair or sun on your skin - what a time to be alive!

I really hope you enjoy my little journey across the globe here! I personally think it's entertaining, especially clicking between the two images, and seeing how different they are. I know there are lots of differences, but I never tried to copy refs exactly, I actually want to bring more of my own view of things into paintings, maybe adding elements that aren't there on the refs, I think this would be super fun! But right now I'm simply trying to paint landscapes and not to pressure myself too much.

Let me know what you think about this exercise! I'm planning on painting an image like that each month, so I hope not to bore you. Oh, and I'm attaching my screenshots I worked with, maybe you'll enjoy looking through them and seeing which little corners of them I decided to use.

Hi lovelies! New Bullet Journal is here, I hope you'll enjoy. ♥ This time I went with the theme of rosehip flowers and berries, I personally like rosehip much better than roses, I see it as a wild version of a garden rose, only better, because rosehip gives you berries in the Autumn. I love Autumn and the changes in nature you start to notice in the last Summer month, even the subtle ones, when a certain flower starts to bloom or leaves change their colour ever so slightly.

I want to try out a new technique with little doodles on the bottom of the personal projects page. This is how it works! When you have some task you need to do, but don't feel too excited about, draw a flowerpot. Tag it. And then give yourself 25 minutes to only focus on that particular task, after that draw a single leaf on your plant in that flowerpot. After several iterations you are going to have not only a pretty flower growing, but also your task, which was bothering you, would be finished! How cool is that? I think this works very well, it creates not only a motivation and focus, but also takes away the stress factor which is also an issue with long-term projects or simply with those you don't really want to bite into. Try this out please! I think it can potentially save your life.

Hi, my loves! I've got something different for you, as you can probably already tell. As you may know, I was dwelling on this thought that I'm eager to start painting diverse things for a while now, first thing on the list is painting people. I'm planning on creating a schedule which would keep me motivated.

It's been several years since I tried painting something like that. It was super fun painting this girl. First thought of mine was simply not to overcomplicate things and just try and paint a pretty girl, without any additional pressure. The main thing here for me was to concentrate on colours, figure out how to approach painting this type of artwork, and to have fun, which is the most important for me now.

After sketching for a while, I came up with this idea that she's gotta be covered with sea weed, like she's just crawled out of the deep sea and is sitting there on a shore watching water. I didn't want to overdo it with details, but this backstory was important for me to work with this character, to connect with her a bit, and to work from there. I hope you enjoy what I came up with!

Hiii my loves! It's this time of the month yet again, August is here, and I'm here to share my favourite July things with you. I say things, but sometimes it's more about feels and non-poetic stuff like an AC during the hottest days. I didn't include the AC as you can see, but I decided to go with slightly more paintable item like ice cubes which I add in water! I'm a simple gal like that.

Ice cream cone falls into the same category of summer necessary things kit, this month I tried out this new kind of ice cream, with double caramel, and it's heaven, guilty pleasure at its finest. When painting, I tried to create a realistic texture of rich and tasty ice cream, but not to overwork it, and the trick was not to zoom in too much, or even at all.

I also want to talk about my Ecoline jar. I'm so excited about my set of watercolours I bought, I wanted to try them out a long time ago, but never got a chance to do that, because it seemed a bit pricey for a single jar, it costs as much as a default professional watercolour set of a dozen of colours, so when I saw there was a sale on Ecoline in a local store, I didn't think twice! And I bought several jars, which I hope will secure me the whole colour spectrum to mix (as I heard, these watercolours mix super smoothly and create the whole palette with just several key colours). I hope to learn how to work with them, because one of my ideas is to start a watercolour sketchbook one day, and these gorgeous watercolours would motivate me a lot.
