tips
- dont eat too late at night…that makes it easier for your body to store what it doesnt need as fat. yes it uses some while you sleep but…yeah
- its much better to spread out your calories than to eat them all at once. spreading them out is what keeps your metabolism going and makes it harder to hit a plateau later even if your calorie count is low.
- to satisfy cravings, ‘what’ you eat is better than ‘when’. if you try to restrict carbs, ‘bad’ carbs make you want to eat more even though they feel filling. fruits and healthy grains are better carbs but are still carbs. veggies are filling. protein is best to feel full but eat less.
- all carbs should be eaten earlier in the day rather than later ~ for instance if you MUST eat a muffin eat it first thing in the day instead of resisting it all day just to cave and eat it at night or late afternoon ~
