i love that scout wears a little headset with a mic because he's supposed to be The Guy Who Does The Scouting which implies urgent radio communication, but no one else on the team has any kind of earpiece or walkie-talkie or anything. who the hell is he walkie-talking to

A couple months ago I was going through Adventure Pulp comic book art and found a piece that reminded me of a certain someone so I decided to make a parody piece/painting study off of it.
This was so much fun, the parts I changed were a bit tricky but I think they came out fine. I have one more picture I’d like to make a TF2 parody/art study with. I need to draw more Sniper.

Spy is extremely insecure about his laugh. He genuinely hates when something makes him laugh so hard that he starts to snort because it breaks his suave personality shtick, and in the past he was mocked for it.
Only two people have heard his actual laugh, one being Sniper, who is a pain in the ass about it, and the other Engie.
Due to Sniper and Spy spending quite a lot of time together it is of no surprise that he eventually heard it, but being the gruff kind of guy he is he takes advantage of teasing Spy about it. Spy will, in turn, tease Sniper about his own laugh, and how it sounds like a dying animal.
Engie didn’t mean to hear Spy’s laugh. He had been going over to Sniper’s van one evening to check out the engine when he overheard the laughter. He didn’t even think it was Spy at first, having only heard his deeper, more sarcastic laugh. Not a word was spoken about it, in fact, he made it a point to not even let Spy know he heard him. He waited a couple minutes after the laughing and teasing died down before walking around the van, quite loudly, and happily saying hello to the two. Spy acted as normal, greeting Engie politely and excusing himself so that the two could discuss what was happening with the engine. He showed no sign of having known Engie was there any sooner, which relieved the Texan since he didn’t want Spy mad at him about anything, even something a small as a laugh since he learned in the past that the Frenchman holds grudges for the oddest things.
Sniper, despite being a royal thorn in the side, likes to make Spy laugh. Due to being a bit socially awkward and reclusive he tended to see himself as unlikable in a social context, but being able to tell stories and crack jokes that get a man such as Spy laughing so hard he snorts strokes his ego just a tad.
Engie simply enjoys knowing that the uptight Frenchman, who never speaks to anyone, can feel comfortable around someone else and he isn’t just alone amongst the others. He never brings up the laughter around Spy or Sniper, keeping it solely to himself. He does often ask the two to run errands together for him, as a way to let them spend some extra time together.
Neither actually enjoy this and will stay dead silent when in public together, but they both like Engie so they agree to go.
Spy also knows Engie heard him, he’s not stupid, and he could see Engie exaggerating his mannerisms. He just plays along and doesn’t bother with bringing it up as it’s a trivial subject to him (and somewhat embarrassing, to him at least).
