If my Dad sees this video: THIS video doesn’t EXACTLY represent out historical relationship, but I’m reblogging this because all that shit does fucking affect people. However my Dad HAS done some of the stuff this video talks about. All these little passive aggressive comments that I remember, like “That’s gay” and “stop acting like a queer” (or some variations), among other things that were condescending and belittling.
I didn’t do certain things, or admit to like certain things, for a LONG TIME that I felt I would be judged by my Dad (and the catholic school I went to). Fuck, I finally bought a pink phone case once in my 30s because I said to myself “I don’t care anymore, I’m gonna get a pink phone case”, and I honestly didn’t know why I was so defiant about it, because there was nobody around to judge me for it? Nobody I knew as a friend would care.

I was VERY FORTUNATE. Granted, I am Class B driver, which was already a high demand worker. I worked for a delivery company that kind depended on restaurants and bars to be open. Luckily grocery liquor stores were still open, so we had some people, but the company did have to lay some people off (like actual layoff, which the real prospect of coming back... not fake layoffs where it was really a firing).
I decided to stay working, but only got maybe 12 hours a week average. I probably shoulda done the unemployment route, but I also had JUST got this job. Mighta worked for less than a year at this point. The company I work for is pretty damn good to us, and my loyalty goes a long way for a job I feel respected and valued at.
I still work there and regularly get 40 hours average.

The hills are stopping facists or letting facists get worse there is no where else to stand.
You people are all wrong, but not for the reasons you think. Attacking fascism is not the hill you die on. To quote the movie Patton: “No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for HIS country.” Attacking fascism is the hill the fascist dies on.
