absolutely not, I’m a firm believer in the messier the bed the more comfortable (on a side note my sheet keeps falling off and I have zero energy to fix it)

I don’t really have one, I guess 7? That’s like a classic

Im in undergrad but I work part time as a lifeguard and also as the printer lady at an elementary school, ideally ill do something at least vaguely artsy tho

If you could go back to school, would you?

Im still in college having a good time, wish I could go somewhere further from home tho but the idea of graduating is both very exciting and very terrifying

Can you parallel park?

Hahahaha I can barely park in general babbbeyy

A job you had that would surprise people?

Prob the universe is huge its silly to believe we’re the only thing out there

I really wanna learn but im not sure Ive even ever been in one

Bad shark movies I’m talking AWFUL Sharknado 4life (other bad movies too but those take the cake)

I have a very eclectic taste in music but I think mostly pop rock

Yes I do them with my dad its lots of fun we’re stuck on super hard Rosetta Stone puzzle right now

Im claustrophobic which is super obnoxious because I LIKE to go on cave hikes and always just end up randomly crying in the middle of them???

Never used to but I do most days now, isn’t there some study about how it’s a really good habit and helps keep your mind calm and stuff? Idk.

What is your job?

I work in cyber security doing a large range of things, but also super interested in ‘cutting edge tech’ and hacking and stuff, so would like to go in that direction.

If you could go back to school, would you?

Probably not, as I know from experience that I learn a lot better ‘on the job’ and just figuring things out as I go. But that being said I’m also in the middle of a few online courses for skills that I’m interested in, so it’s a bit of a balance?

I can but I hate it so avoid it at all costs.

A job you had that would surprise people?

I don’t know if it’s the job in particular or just the culture change, but I moved from a big corporate job in a company of over 110,000 people, an office of 80-100 people a day, to a company with less than 10 total employees. Massive shift.

Do you think aliens are real?

At the very least I hope so, because the concept of other life forms and how they may have grown and adapted over the millennia really intrigues me. There are also lots of unexplained things on earth that ‘could’ point to alien visitation in years past.

Can you drive a manual car?

I can drive one as over here in the UK we learn to drive manual as standard ;) The new car I bought last week also happens to be manual, as opposed to the semi-auto I am now selling. (Also @justanotherurl-not​ your answer was a lie you’ve been in my 1st car which was manual)

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Probably mythology or really abstract puzzles that do nothing but make your brain hurt.

Nope, thought about it a few times, but never really had the urge to get one.

Punk rock mostly I’d say, All Time Low 24/7, but I’ll also listen to most things that aren’t god awful radio hits.

Yes most definitely, although very sad to say I haven’t done one in years, need to invest in some good ones.

Up until recently I would’ve said no, but I think a big fear is losing/long term damaging a hand or foot. I play piano and drums, as well as game quite a lot for fun, and something that would seriously affect my ability to do things like that actually really scares me.

The entire MCU.

But mainly Iron Man and Spiderman.

Coffee is _at least_ 90% of my bloodstream. Too much work to do, sleep is unimportant.

Race car driver. My parents used to be very into Formula one, and we’d go Go karting every couple of months just for fun, wish I could’ve gone down that route.

the thing is, somebody cares. i know your best friend seems really busy all the time and is shit at texting but she still loves you and she talks to you more than she talks to anyone else and you’re the only breath of calm she has on this planet. the boy in your science class loves seeing what music you’re listening to on your headphones - he has the same taste and wishes he had the nerve to ask you about it. your english teacher loves the insight you have on your papers. somebody cares. the person who lives down the street from you notices when you are sick because they don’t see you stomping your way to the schoolbus - it’s how they know it’s time to get their breakfast ready. somebody is looking for you at the party, even if they don’t know they’re really looking for you - but when you don’t show up, some part of them is disappointed. somebody is looking for you in the library, in the spot where you eat lunch, in front of that one step you always seem to trip on. i know your parents are a complicated mess and there’s drama between your friends and your love life is sort of shaped like a constant question and everybody seems all caught up in their own lives and their own happiness and nobody really notices: but somebody always does. every face in your dreams is someone you have met, and that means that you are in a million’s stranger’s heads. they see you when they go to bed. and somebody cares. somebody still thinks about you even though you were just a person with a nice outfit or good eyeliner or a great smile or because you were having one of those moments that are so charmingly human in nature or because they regret not asking if you needed help when you fell or because they wonder what you were thinking about or drawing or writing or just because you’re alive, and that makes you fascinating. somebody cares. when you were on break from work and saw a dog hanging his head out of the car and suddenly broke into a smile: there was a girl in the back of that car, and I was her, and I still think about you, and i hope you get more chances to smile like that. and there is you, sitting here reading this, and by some small extension, meeting me, and i am telling you, I care. somebody always does. i promise. i promise. you are loved.

So, basically, when I first told people that I was heterosexual and straight, it seemed weird to them, and I realized later on, that sometimes people tend to associate straights aka cishets with homophobes, which is not necessarily true.

More than half of the people I know on Tumblr belong on the queer scale, and I don’t, but that doesn’t mean I’m a homophobe for that matter.

Look, most of you might scroll past this, and I’m okay with that, but what disturbs me is putting all the heteros and straights under the homophobes category. Please don’t. People like me, straight people, are not homophobes. We 100% support the LGBTQ community and will continue to do so.

Dear Anyone Who Hates Cats

My cat literally sleeps next to my face until she thinks I’m asleep and then she’ll move to the end of my bed. If I wake up at night she’ll go back up to me head and stay with me until I fall asleep again. In the morning she’ll follow me when I call her. She’s a precious lil nugget.
