admittedly it would be funny if there was a fake-out at the beginning of the srtt rewrite where after the plane explodes and anteros and shaundi are separated from johnny, they get a call from loren saying all that shit about how “the body of mr. gat is a warning” etc etc bc loren just assumes johnny didn’t survive the crash and anteros and shaundi are like Oh God Johnny Didn’t Make It
and then like two minutes later they get a call from johnny like “hey i landed…….somewhere. can you come get me.” meanwhile anteros and shaundi had just speedran all the stages of grief
@edmunderson they track him down and keep yelling for him from the car for a good couple of minutes while he’s trying to coolly find them (he cannot see that they are several feet in front of him)
