Right now I’m thinking how funny it would be if wwx was one of those people who got chronic nosebleeds, like either spontaneous ones or ones that are triggered from breathing dry air. Like, he’s just chillin post canon with some cultivators one day and his nose starts bleeding. And because he’s the Yiling Patriarch who does Bad Demonic Cultivation, everyone immediately freaks out like OMFG HES QI DEVIATING!!! HE’S DYING FROM ALL THE DEMONIC CULTIVATION!!! THE YILING PATRIARCH HAS FINALLY MET HIS (SECOND) END!!!! And wwx is just there like hm the air is quite dry today. Oh no my shirt is ruined. What a pity. Why are you guys freaking out

Fic title: 5 Times Harrowhark Asked God to Undo Her Sins and 1 Time She Forgave Him
PLOT:
- Post HtN drowning-in-the-River dreamscape fic, John and Harrow are trapped in a time-woozy River bubble together. They're overlapping, their souls sharing memories and thoughts and feelings. Harrow begs for absolution from her sins and John is struggling with his own transgressions
RANDOM PLOT POINTS:
- SIN 1: Her own sin of existance, the death of the 200 children (paralleled to John's weight of the 10 billion and his desperate desire to escape the guilt of it, his rationalization of it, his empire built on the bones of children, the hunting Beasts etc)
- SIN 2: Her failure to return to the Ninth House (paralleled to John's failure to rebuild his Eden the way it was before it was lost, and how he has forgotten over so many years, or tried to forget or lied to himself to escape self-accountability for)
- SIN 3: Her treatment of Gideon. Harrow's cruelty, the Reverend parents' abuse, the Ninth House's failure to provide anything resembling what a child needs and Harrow's guilt over being complicit in all of it (paralleled to John letting his Houses raise themselves largely without his influence, his own regret of staying away and maybe if he had been more involved, things would be different (they wouldn't))
- SIN 4: Gideon's death, Harrow's failure to save her, Harrow's consumption of her soul. (paralleled to John's regret of letting his Saints convince him to lock up Alecto. contrast Harrow's lobotomy and huilt with John's anger)
- SHE FORGIVES HIM: Harrow sees him and his flaws and forgives him for being human. She sees God as a man, and walks away to find something better.

This scene features one of the best things about Chris Reeve’s portrayal, which is that he physicalized his different choices between playing Clark and Superman. Like, look at the difference:
He could go from Rick Moranis to Chris Evans with just his posture. It’s like his glasses are weighing his entire body down. Here it is, in motion:

This is a perfect example that proves that the Clark Kent disguise actually does work….and how it works….
Christopher Reeve was the best Superman and still is
Are we gonna discuss that Lois Lane rationalized that Superman wouldn’t even feel a bullet, thus wouldn’t even know he hadn’t been hit, causing Clark Kent to reveal himself for who he truly is without her having to risk anybodies life?
God I love Christopher Reeve’s Superman because some of Clark’s clumsiness can be seen in Superman too. The fact that this man didn’t realize it was a blank even though he can see things move in slow motion is really funny to me
Like he grew up thinking he had to hide his powers and I just assume that sometimes he forgets he has them because Clark is Clark. He might be superhuman but he’s still a clumsy dumbass and that’s his biggest flaw.
You don’t need kryptonite when you’re dealing with a good honest clumsy man and Lois knows that because she knows Clark!
It’s why I don’t like pretty much any other Superman movie as much. They make him too perfect, that’s not what makes this Kansas man so charming!

The Good Place by the end: Morality cannot be measured in a vacuum. While people should be held accountable for their actions, people are a product of their environment and the results of our actions are often beyond our control. Bad people can improve when they loved and supported. Also, the reality of death is essential to the enjoyment of life.
