@favorite-kat

If it has to do with Wash, then yes, tell me everything
Where’s Will?

New favorite thing: Joyce miming the affectionate shoulder-grab she just did to Jonathan, but at Will-height, as she realizes he’s not in his usual place at the table and asks Jonathan where his brother is in 1x01.

“Pat son no. 1, pat son no. 2 – WAIT, ERROR, SON NOT FOUND.”

It’s just the cutest busy-mom thing. :’)

The story behind this issue is the writer, Ed Hannigan, was being asked by the editors to include more white characters in Black Panther comics. This was his responce.

Marvel Premiere #52

Chester Bennington’s death made me think that suicides by people in their 40s, 50s, and up, who have been struggling with depression their whole lives, are a special kind of sad. They fought through agony for decades and just couldn’t make it.

Kitty: 'Knowledge' is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; 'wisdom' is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Bobby: That was deep.
Nightcrawler: 'Philosophy' is wondering if that means ketchup is a smoothie.
Kitty: That was deeper.
Rogue: 'Common sense' is knowing that ketchup isn't a damn smoothie, you nasties.

I’m actually a little offended because if there were ever a male Strong Female Character

it’d be Nightwing

Isn’t that right Karen?

IM A LITTLE BITTER NEGL dick grayson was doing the strong female character thing IN CANON way before anyone knew who clint barton was but WHATEVER FANDOM

WHATEVER

did I mention this isn’t fanart

really printed

ACTUAL POSE IN AN ACTUAL COMIC BOOK

tits and ASS

gratuitous and inhuman

losing clothes since 1980something

yet fandom still decides that CLINT BARTON is a better male Strong Female Character than this flawless prince smh

idg why or how that snub happened but I am protesting it

WE ALL KNOW WHO THE REAL WINNER IS

and did I mention CANON because

CANON MALE STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER

CLEAR WINNER BY A LONG SHOT

DICK GRAYSON PERIOD THE END

I love Hawkeye, and the Hawkeye initiative, but this post never fails to crack me up.

Artists, what are you doing?

I

STRONGLY

AGREE

WITH

EVERYTHING.

Not to mention a villain actually says “I’d know that ass anywhere” when seeing Dick Grayson from behind.

I can’t believe no one has added the scene when Dinah thought she was going to walk in on Babs in the shower and she got naked Dick Grayson instead and the genius who wears a mask over the top half of his face decides to hide the bottom half.

(I used to have an icon of this on LJ.)

“Not to mention a villain actually says “I’d know that ass anywhere” when seeing Dick Grayson from behind.” THAT’S NOT A VILLAIN THAT’S MIDNIGHTER AND HIS TEAMUPS WITH DICK ARE DELIGHTFUL

Also I really, realllllly want to draw a Nightwing comic. At this point I’d probably have to create an analog to make that happen though.

Oooh! Do keep us informed, and in case further inspiration is needed….

and confirming what we all knew

….which explains so much..

Look guys, the whole point of the Hawkeye Initiative is to demonstrate how wrong it looks when someone is put into those poses, and you only don’t notice because women are always drawn that way so you’re used to it.

As you all have so clearly demonstrated, Dick is also always drawn that way, so he wouldn’t stand out either, subverting the whole point of the project!

@powergirl can you believe people are still explaining the Hawkeye Initiative four years later, even though this post was clearly a joke

finished my aurors Harry and Draco :) probably bickering about something mundane (let’s be real - these two would argue about sky being blue) but that’s true love anyway, i think Harry has lots of perfectly fine auror robes, but loves to wear muggle clothes - jeans and hoodies are just too comfy to resist :)
