(inspired by Keith Haring :D!!)

gentle reminder: you’re not weak for feeling unable to cope with something. you’re not weak for being overwhelmed. you’re not weak for needing extra time. we usually don’t show these emotions to others so it’s hard to see, but you’re not alone in feeling the way you do. we can get better together.

you’re not annoying!!! ur not annoying when u talk about what u love!! ur not annoying when u double text!!! ur not annoying when u share ur feelings or call that person or laugh at that joke!!! ur not annoying!!!!

Spoonies do you ever get into that zone where you’ve been an exhausted trance for hours forcing yourself to stay awake, and now you can finally go to bed except you *cant* because your body doesn’t know how to turn off the “stay awake your life depends on it” switch?

Even if you don't think/know that you have [disorder] (or even if you know you don't!) you're allowed to use coping strategies meant for or associated with that disorder. You can use ADHD tips for your poor memory. You can stim even if you're not autistic (stimming has a lot of overlap between disorders honestly). You can use chronic fatigue tips if you have depression. You're not stealing resources. If it helps you, it helps you, whether you were the target audience or not

#dismantling the 'but am I hurting ENOUGH?' brain voice improves the life immeasurably

Chronic fatigue is like living paycheck to paycheck. And you are pretty sure if you just rest, or eat some food, you’ll get more energy. But it is unreliable and often you run out of energy and cannot do anything. Sometimes you don’t get a boost you were relying on and you have to cancel plans.
