Ginzo Nakamori deserves an appreciation post! and im giving him one!
Ok, so I was rewatching Magick Kaito again and couldn't help but ask myself. WHY ISNT THIS MAN RECEIVING MORE LOVE ?! So I thought to myself, this requieres an apreciation post, so here it goes
Ginzo is not being recognized as the great police inspector he is! He is a skillful man who has been in charge of capturing Kid since he was 23 he was my age for god’s sake! (and i still cant get my shit together!) he can keep up with Kid despite his actual age, is always coming up with plans to catch him, taking into account that he is also a magician and that he has all sort of tricks under his sleeve, and it's also one of the few people who can decipher his riddles (as we see in their first appearances in DC)
also here he knew kid will brake free so he prepared a whole back up plan
This has been mentioned before in other post i read here, but despite Kid being a thief, he is very fond of him and knows he is not a "Bad guy" defending him when he was framed for murder, or when someone said he could cut his finger, he believed that Kid would not eveng worrying for his safty
Also, look at my boi! he enjoys his work soo much!, and I firmly believe that he doesn't dislike Kid. it seems like He just wants to catch him to prove he can do it.
This is important! he has a great relationship with Kaito witch I find cute ( in a (in-law *w*) paternal way). He trusts him, and ask for advices and everything !
and even when he suspected that he was Kid, his first instinct was not to arrest him, but he rather looked worried (i also think that Nakamori still believes that Kaito is Kid, but he knows he is not a bad person and wants to know why he is doing this)
And last but not least!
Let's face it, he is a major KaiAo shipper, to the point he seems comfortable and chill with them acting like a married couple!
even in nonchalant lupin,he was sure Kaito would rescue his daughter, and he was so happy when they got married
he also told Kaito that aoko brags about him and his magic tricks (you know, like couples do when they are proud of their partners)
I'm so convinced that one day he will just be at the dinner table and be like
G: so, Kaito-Kun will marry my daughter and become my son-in-law?
A: did you just propose to Kaito for me?
Well Thanks for reading this I just needed to say that even if he's a workaholic and sometimes he is not there for my precious Aoko, he is a great fucking character!
