We've noticed a trend of folks asking for discounts recently so we thought we'd address it with a little post! Other shops may do things differently, but Farpoint is a No Haggle Zone. Some stores might mark things up expecting you to haggle or to trick you into thinking you're getting a "deal". Others don't price ANYTHING & only decide what to charge you when you get to the counter! That's not how we roll here at Farpoint! Every item for sale in the store is priced fairly based on its unique condition & completeness. Those prices are As-Marked & are not negotiable. Think about it: would you ask the cashier at Walmart for a deal on the shampoo you're buying?! You wouldn't do that at a corporate business, so why do it to a small business that needs your money way more than that corp?! We sell toys full time. We love what we do, but it's also how we keep a roof over our heads & the lights on! This isn't our side-hustle or hobby. Haggling with us literally takes money out of our pockets & food off our table! While it's imperative to us that everyone leave our store happy, we realize that can't be done by sacrificing the health of the store itself. So, unless you're Henry Cavill ... 🤣 Our in-store prices are not negotiable. We don't take best offers. We're not going to "throw you a bone". We can't "do any better", "do you a solid", "help you out" or "cut you a break": ESPECIALLY NOT if you ask if "the guy who owns the place" will give you a better deal!
