Okay, IF they use HIMYF to bring Barney and Robin together I will watch this season. He and Robin clearly have a connection to Sofie this CAN change the horrible and atrocious original ending that destroyed the entire series. If the events of this series align with a Barney and Robin reunion ONSCREEN I will watch this season. Now, I don’t care about the original ending because that shit was so out of character that I completely disregard it. The alternate is the only real ending for me. They are together and happy raising Ellie together because that’s what the alternate has for them. Barney and Robin are together during these years because Barney was wearing a wedding ring in a flashfoward ie the one where Ted goes to Tracy to want more time with her. Barney and Robin’s timing is off again but they CAN reunite in this show. Barney will always be Barney, Robin will always be Robin neither should change who they are to be happy together. This is what HIMYM tried to do but failed at miserably. They wanted to change Robin to fit more with Ted but they were never ever right for each other and used a fairytale approach for their original ending. This show should have stuck to/with the people they are and excepting that they will be who they are but accept, appreciate and love the people they are and they grow within their relationship.
And for the love of everything I love bring me Neil and Cobie on my screen again. They are so wonderful together why waste such chemistry?
